Yet another meet up!

Where: Soundninja's place (PM her for address)
Who: Me
   Griff
   Mini-Man
   Ninja
   Soundninja
   Irene
   Bucket_Stalker
   Terrible_Trivium
   Trivium's Brother
   One of Soundninja's friends
(To my knowledge, that's who's attending)

What: Bonfire, smores, hotdogs, stuff like that. Also, we're doing a camp out ^^
When: Meet at Sarge's (Soundninja's) between 3:59 and 4:30 on Friday, July 31st (PM Soundninja for address)

Seems we all gotta be outta Sarge's by noon Caturday, so make sure that's do-able for you if you're coming.

Bring: Food if ya can
   Sleeping Bag
   Tent (Though it seems we already got a guy's tent/girl's tent thing setup, so you only need one if you want your own)
   Toothbrush (This is an overnighter you know!)
   Roastey-stick-things (Bring some if you got some)

@ Griff: I'm not playing FFD anymore! Monster Hunter is my focus currently! XD

Post if you're interested, I'll post updates, you all know the drill.

We're also thinking of making our own Central Oregon Cosplay Group. But that's still in the early stages. We'll need a name, so post suggestions!

So out of curiosity were you guys trying to get the cosplay group together in time to do a group thing for this Kumoricon or is it entirely for the future?

Entirely for the future, but I'm sure we could do something this year if everyone wanted. This is my first con, and I'm not cosplaying, will next time though XD
I mentioned the idea at Irene's house and kinda got roped into being the leader, even though I've noooo clue about what goes on XD
But hey, if we do that, we can morph it into a general anime club. Basically be an excuse for us all to meet up, watch anime, and make cosplay.

As for what people should bring:
Tent stuff (I'm sure we could just do a "guy tent" "girl tent" thing)
Sleeping bags
Roastable foods (Hotdogs, smore stuff, that incredibly badass campfire-y popcorn, things like that)
Snacky things of awesome
Stuff to drink
Spare clothes?

Basically anything for camping really

Ok well I have a really big tent so we could have it for the guy tent. And as for the cosplay group what would be our theme if we did this year? I almost have my pokemon cosplay done just need to make the ears and tail.

I have a really big tent that the girls could use but it's in storage so if someone else has one I'd rather not dig through the crawl space to find it.

@Seluecos: Aw you should give cosplay a try even if it's your first con. It's half the fun and there are tons of simple cosplays you can do to start off.

I think it would be fun to try and do a group thing this year if possible but I'm kind of a cosplay freak so feel free to ignore me. As for a theme I'm not sure what sort of thing to suggest because I don't even know what other people like, how much effort/money they would want to put into a costume, ect...
I'm also planning on doing a Pokémon so that could be a possibility. It could also be fun to try to put together the cast of a show or something.

I really dont care to be honest. i dont exspect people to know what a shiny umbreon looks like because really how hard is it in the game to even get a shiny???

Cosplay campout? What could be better? x) I went with my friend yesterday to a camping ground to swim, and seeing a group of people roasting marshmallows made me SO jealous. So I would definetly consider this one! 8DDD

This is Sarge (soundninja12) on Irene's account.
I live right off of Neff RD. in Bend Or., out by the Bend airport. It can get a little irritating but the 15 acres are worth it.
I'm not sure when is good for us (for the most part we come in a package), but Irene is out of town for a few weeks.
She's in for Next friday, saturday and a section of sunday.
I just need to ask my parents, and they'd be probably happy to have the party here.
I'd just need to find a good place for a bond fire.
If all else fails, I have a fire pit thing that we always bring out on new years, that would be an ok backup.
Ok, I'm always bored, and can pretty much do it any time, just PM me (Me, Soundninja12 not Irene) and I'll promptly respond.

If you mean next weekend as in the 31st, 1st, and 2nd I won't be able to make it yet again. That's the weekend my brother is coming back from college to visit me for my birthday, and as much as I want to meet you all, I'm not missing my brother's visit. Sorry

If it is a time I can come I'd be fine with leaving at 10 or something if it would make your parents happier.

Well I want to plan it for an all nighter. and i want everyone to put dates down that is good for them.
@Sgt.: just tell your parents the plan that we would like to have an all nighter. oh we could also doing bowling to. what i mean is fuse the 1.75 meet up and 2.0 meet up as one.

That sucks. We should make one that both of us could come to, somewhere in between.
Thing is, I'm 13 so I can't drive yet. If it were up to me, I'd drive 5 hours to get to a meet-up, but for now, I'm stuck as a passenger. Unless someone would be willing to give me a ride down to where ever you happen to be (*cough* Pat *cough*) I couldn't go.

ok, my parents said that it would be cool if we stayed out late at my place, but I didn't ask about an over nighter.
Would you guys want to camp, or what?
Did I mention my Dad is one of those super over-protective types?
Well, I think he would just send the dog out with us, and that would make him happy (please don't be afraid of my horse sized dog, he's really quite nice). He might also have to check every now and again.
Plus Irene and I would be stuck in my room for sleeping most likely.

Schedule wise:
Katie:
IS FREE AND BORED OFF HER ROCKER!
Only time she can't do is this weekend, Wednesday at 1;30 - 2:30, Thursdays from 3:00- 4:00, and Mondays from 6:00 - 7:00.
(Is getting tutored in math, spanish and taking weapons class)

Irene:
Friday the 31st, the morning of the 1st.

Then she ditches us.
I'll start bringing someone else, I don't wanna be the only girl (No offense, over protective dad, remember.)!

Most dates are good for me as long as I know about them like a week in advance (otherwise I tend to have things planed already). The few dates that I can't do anything are the 27th of July through the 2nd of August, and August the 22nd. Otherwise as long as I have advance warning whenever should work for me.

Monday is fine. Tuesdays, I have plans. But I can move it if needed. Rather not though cuz it seems I always have to move things around whenever I go to hang out with John XD

Sounds (so far) like friday works.
This would be the plan, I'd find a place in my back field that the irrigation sprinklers wont hit (we move them everyday, so we'll have to explore when people get here on Friday.) and have the guys camp out there. The girls (there are 4 of us now, Irene, Erin, my friend Martha, and I) would sleep in my room. Unless the guys want to sleep in my guest bedroom (it is amazingly small and filled with sewing crap.). Maybe the girls could sleep in the guest bedroom and the guys could sleep in my room because my room is bigger. That would work as long as you don't harass my shiz. But we'll probably be outside most of the night anyways.
Can't wait to see everyone again.
