What is a Anime Swimsuit Contest? Well its a swimsuit contest with a anime theme :wink:, contestants both female and male, design swimsuit versions of their faveorite charater and compete to be 1 of 2 final winners.
There are 3 rounds to the contest, all are
in character:
Round 1: Introductions and Posing
Round 2: Talents, ex. sing a song from the series, preform as your charater, do a activity from ya series. Few example of past talents are: Asuka from Neo Gen Eva fighting a person dressed as a Angel, Ayane from DoA doing a butt battle, Pony Stalker form Fumofuu giving someone a pony tail
Round 3: Q&A from the crowd, various people from the crowd will get to ask each contestant questions.
After all 3 rounds are finished all contestants will gather up on stage, for group photos and the picking of the 2 winners. The prize will be $ 20, it will be same for both winners.
The judges pick winner will be decided, by the judges and the crowd favorite winner will be chosen by who the crowd cheers for the loudest.

Talent: What you plan on doing for your in charater talent, all talents must relate to your charater/series, ex. sing a song from the series, preform as your charater, do a activity from ya series. Few example of past talents are: Asuka from Neo Gen Eva fighting a person dressed as a Angel, Ayane from DoA doing a butt battle, Pony Stalker form Fumofuu giving someone a pony tail(If you are unsure of a talent but want to apply, leave this section empty but a talent is required at the time of the contest at the con)

All swimsuits will be required to conform to the policies of the convention center and of AE. if you have any questions on if your costume falls within the lines, please feel free to ask me or convention staff and I help you with your answer as soon as possible.
This may be more of a adult natured panel but all attendees of the panel will still be required to be respectful to all contestants. Just use common sense and ya be fine, I've never had problem before with this aspect and don't think I will this time either. There will be Kumoricon staff at the panel as well.
