The con is in 4 weeks and the schedule usually comes out two weeks to a week before the con

I get that too. At least you haven't had weather related damage to your venue a week out.

Weather damage?  That would be horrid.  Also, I tossed Prog more curve balls late Friday night.  Prog is going to strangle me one of these days   But, that does mean more panels for con.

It was. Yesterday, I was in the Manifest office to print out some accommodation documents (I'm accommodation and schedule coord for Manifest) to drop off on my way to the airport for my flight home that afternoon when our venue coord got an email from the venue's event planner. Basically, “the gale force winds last night/this morning have blown part of the roof off one of the buildings. The rain is now coming in and that room is going to take weeks to repair.”
Manifest is this weekend. @_@

I know I would. With only 3 weeks to go, I'd have wanted the majority of the schedule locked in and ready to be sent for printing in the program book last week.

I know at MEW con I had the print out from the site, then they had the updated booklet as a handout at the con.
Two weeks before sounds balanced to me. Gives the people making it all happen time to "let the glue dry" and still gives con goers time to plan out their weekend, choosing what they'd rather not miss. Because it's impossible to go to everything at a con.

If Relations will stop making changes, the schedule should be finalized soon.  Then it's just a matte of Publicity getting it posted on the site.  We will make an announcement when that happens... thanks for your patience
