I just went ice skating with some friends and their Japanese exchange students - about 30 people - and I admit that it was extremely fun. <3 I'd like to go with such a big group again.

Cosplay is not a dress code here for the people who do not want to risk their costumes on the ice.

WHERE: Ice Skating Rink @ Lloyd Center
WHEN: December 27, 1pm

ADMISSION AND SKATE RENT FEE:
$9 per person.

I just wanted to comment on something, at something like this where you are meeting in a public place I don't see how you can put a cap on things. People can show up if they want and you can't turn them away. Now if this was at someone house it would be much easier to do that.

I've really wanted to go ice skating for awhile. As long as I'm not moving into our new apartment at that time I would probably go and try to bring my boyfriend.

I meant to say a 30-person limit for the discount price. Everyone has to be there if they want the discount, but if someone is late then I'd rather not wait too long for them. P: I guess I didn't make that clear, I'll go change it.

@Tanis Are you physically handy capped to where you cant stand up on ice? Maybe you could have someone wall walk you for some of the time there

I can stand on ice; can even run and fight and play video games on the ice.

Can't do any of it with ice skates on, though. Leg just ain't that good.

I'd like to come and try. If I come as Red the Ninja, I'll be cushioned from any falls I take, and the cold ice. I'm much better at walking on ice when I play Curling there.

Actually Lloyd center ice has enough skate marks on it to be unpredictable when throwing a curling stone down it and hoping it'll go straight, compared to smooth ice at a curling clubhouse.

OH man Id love to go I always epic at skating.... If i had some money (BTW every one @ school was incredibly confused about the exchange students. did they only stay for the weekend? nobody saw them at school)

there is a pokemon cosplay meetup on the second saturday of november, so i don't suggest doing it then, as there will most likely be a decent sized group going to that.
although, the original plan was to go to lloyd center, we have pretty much decided against it due to peoples past experiences with that mall.

True, True...That mall is a bit..yeah...Didnt Clackamas used to have a skating rink...They like took it out because of there money business with it was being sucky..well..
