I'm going to be going as Krim from .hack//sign to Akicon and I'm definately going to bust it out for Kumoricon. I'd like to have a chance for a meetup and photoshoot with other .hack cosplayers. Lemme know what you plan!

I will definitely have to keep an eye out for both Ichi and Oslap.
And if Dubaby actually does BT, I'd look out for that, too~

If I actually can get a job, which will supply me with money for a sewing machine, I'm going to try and get a Balmung cosplay done, for Kumori-con.

Hell yeah! We decided to premiere our little SIGN group at Sakuracon and we'll be rewearing it at next KCon.

Balmung and Haseo are awesome! I'm tempted to do a G.U. cosplay for KCon but Mimiru comes first.

So after discussing with my associate, we have reached the decision that IF I were to cosplay .hack it would most likely be Subaru instead of BT since I look to young/short to do BT.

But the tummy terrifies me.... buhhhhhhhhh. Would it look terrible if I extended the top into more of a tank type thing? But ugh so inaccurateeeeee. D=

Don't worry about the tan thing guys! I'll probably experiment with some sort of body spray paint to make myself darker.

YES, Cloudy, convince your cousin to be Helba like the wind! A good Helba cosplayer in person would probably make me pee myself.

Dubaby, you would make a mega adorable Subaru but you shouldn't go with the bare stomach if it makes you uncomfortable, then you might worry about that instead of enjoying the deliiousness of .hack cosplay. Maybe you could wear a flesh colored tank top or something, or use a shear fabric from the top to the skirt, kind of like what belly dancers wear? Then the top itself would still be accurate you'd just be changing, or adding, to the stomach part. Ahahaha, maybe stupid ideas but good luck with whatever you do!

And if you go back to BT I wouldn't mind a short one, we could always use crazy photography voodoo to make you seem tall!

Sorry about the huge post and excess of exclamation points, the thought of finally cosplaying .hack pumps me up.

Like I said on FB it's anything goes, but I think it'd be super cool to get as many people from SIGN for Sakuracon and Kumoricon as possible. After next year's Kumoricon I would love to do other .hack cosplay, especially from G.U. ~ <3

But since I'm not, Balmung will have to do for me.
Now to decide on which version of him to do...
If everyone ends up doing .hack//SIGN characters, I'll do his version from that, even if he really isn't in that series.

You don't have to do /sign if you don't want to. If we can generate enought interest to get a full .hack/sign group then we can have 2 groups a /sing as well as a general .hack group. I'm hoping that once we get all the peoople we can organise a photoshoot.

two) I was sort of thinking of doing a Balmung (i have a thing for wings and he has them~) and I was looking at some of the characters for LINK

FFFFFFFFFFFFF..... I found the prettiest wig ever for Subaru! (I'll have to cut it to the right style but the color is OMG *drool*) It has been bookmarked and saved for after Sakuracon when I will claim it as my own...

I need to stop being naughty though and focus on my Butterfree cosplay for Akicon, instead of drooling over cosplays that won't happen for another year. XD

Do bear Roscoe I think the slicked back hair look seemsto fit you well in your cosplays. You'd have to go brown instead of blonde though.

As soon as I get spendng money I'mma buy my Mimiru wig and Maddy's Sora wig. And during wood class I keep fantasizing about how I can sand a big block of wood into her broadsword, ahahaha.

The current for sure list is-

@ unsure people, the sooner you decide the better in case you're unable to commit and we have to find someone else for the character!

@ people who want to cosplay SIGN but don't know which character to be, watch the series! It won't be very fun if we're taking pictures and only a few of us have posing ideas, and you can't really be in character if you don't know the character.

For the full cast we still need little Aura, BT, Silver Knight, and Bear.

Okay, I'm going to keep looking for someone to cosplay Bear until you can 100% commit on it, just in case you end up dropping it. And this isn't just directed towards to you, but as far as fitness is concerned, plan your cosplay around how fit you already are, not how fit you want to be.

Personally I'd love to be balmung, and I'll watch the SIGN series just for fun, plus I'm pretty good at making armor so that wouldn't be that hard [wire + paper mache = my best friend]

@ Oslapedo I would NOT suggest making your broadsword or anything remotly like it in shop class. you can get expelled for making a weapon at school. My woodshop class was letting several students make boomerangs a Boken after school and almost got fired and we had to stop. however since I have experience making Giant swords by hand I'd be more than willing to make you one for Mimiru.
