Updated~

We are searching for cosplayers of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. We want to create a group to at least have a photoshoot.

We would love to get everyone <3 You don't have to have the cosplay for Kumoricon if you have too much on your plate already.

You can even create your own designs based on the character. Like what Taikei and I are doing for Lock, Shock and Barrel. We made it more simple with a punk flair. So if you do wish to make your own design, try to aim for a more punk/goth look, but make sure people can still tell who the character is.

Depending who wants to do this and when they can get their cosplays done, were either going to have a photoshoot sometime in the summer or in the fall. And maybe even both!
We may even try and have one sometime in the winter with the snow. (Would be funny to have our picture taken with Santa XD)

So please post here if you're interested and who you'd like to be!

Molly, I'm working on sketches right now, so I'll upload those soon to give people an idea of what I'm talking about.

Though, would you be willing to do Shock's actual outfit? Wouldn't be that hard.

And if you're wanting more info about what we're doing....Basicly, this is just a small cosplay group to do TNBC. So we'd mainly do photoshoots, and hang out.
And b/c some people's cosplays are going to take a while, we probably wont really start until after Kumoricon 2011 and into 2012.

Also...I'm kinda debating about pushing Sync back a year and doing LSB for the contest with Kink (if that's okay with you Sam!)......

I have a feeling that Sync is going to be a two year process for me anyways, b/c of all the stuff I want to do for it. Especially if I decide to do his mage outfit.....

So you can at least count Lock into helping you!!! Don't know about the other two yet....

And yes. B/c Ruko is both genders and now it seems Shock is too XD

And yes. This shall be EPIC!

So, I'm trying to decide what to do for his hair...B/c it's slicked back a wig wont look the best, but I also don't know how well spray dye will look either...
Though, it may look creepier with the spray b/c it'll show a mix of the dark hair. And Barrel is planning on using her hair as well, so we may spray her's too. And I figure you can just use your own hair, Molly, especially if it's still black...
I'll probably take some pics sometime to experiment...

It doesn't have to be perfect, but by the looks of things depending how well it's done your real hair + spray dye might be the top choice. And also, spray dye is on sale considering Halloween and what not. There might not be too much left over though. Considering it's the 2nd, and people are mad for sales.

My hair is black most of the time, so I won't have to worry about spray dyes or anything.
Besides, I need to keep my hair black for Ruko cosplays so it won't be any other colour anytime soon.

I'll have to take a look at Shocks hair and figure out what to dooo.

Yeah, I'm going today to get stuff. So I may do some tests this week.

As for Shocks hair, I think if you just left your hair straightish and messedit up a bit, that'd be fine.
