How many people would want/go to a Sailor Moon panel??

Topics:
Manga vs Anime story lines- the changes they made
Original Japanese version vs American dub and those changes
Sailor Moon dub through the years- company ownership. Dic/Pioneer/Cloverway, etc
What COULD have become of Sailor Moon in America- "Saban Moon" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=358ewVY2nko&feature=related)
Religion and mythology in the story lines
The musicals (Sera Myu) and TV show (Pretty Guardian)
History of how Sailor Moon came to be, from the mind of Naoko- (Codename: Sailor V)
Naoko's feelings on the Anime adaptations
Japanese culture through Sailor Moon (book of reference- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warriors_of_Legend)

Some AMV's can be shown
Clips from musicals/live version
If time- show one of the specials, like "Ami's First Love"

I really want this to happen, but I'm nervous on running a panel- *never done it before*

as you know I'm super interested in a Sailor Moon Panel
Being the PGSM/Sera Myu fan I am I would love to maybe do something around those themes. That is just me, I'm fine with anything really

I was hoping all those topics could at least be touched upon- whereas how in depth each got would depend on audience participation, but yeah I'd def wanna touch on all of them- PGSM/Sera Myu included.

Panel slots are generally an hour right?
If I HAD to chose though (for time's sake) I would want the primary focus the anime/manga then brief discussion on the adaptations.

That would be good, I would volunteer to talk about PGSM.

We should have a meetings before the con in real life about planing, I think it would be easier than trying to communicate over the internet

also now I'm adding a sailor moon cosplay to my list ~~but I'm not sure who I would be~~ EDIT!!!
So after talking with my mom we deiced on being Sailor Luna form PGSM!

I already have 20 questions looking at the form
like:
what day would be the best for everyone?
How many should we expect?
How long should it be?
What Equipment would we need?
and should it be PG-13 or just PG because I want to talk about the interpretations of the Starlights and Haruka's and Michiru's relationship

I think PG13 would be fine. That way you would have a little more leeway to talk about the Starlights and Haruka and Michiru, and I don't think there will be that many people under 13. And I'd say we can expect at least ten or so people, based on the forums alone...so maybe expect 15-ish because of drop-ins?

Aaaand Day One would work best for me because that's when I was planning to wear Sailor Uranus. I'd kind of prefer not Day Two because that's when I'm hoping to run a Nabari No Ou panel which would mean I'm wearing Raikou, and changing will be kind of tricky if my friend doesn't end up getting a hotel room that I can store stuff in. But if Day Two is the day that works best for everyone else, I can figure something out. I'm definitely not missing this panel.

Hey guys I just finished writing the first draft of the Panel description!
Here is what I have so far:
"Sailor Moon is more than annoying girls in heels and miniskirts. Come join the hardcore fans as we discuss the other aspects of Naoko Takeuchi’s work. We will be talking about topics like, Anime vs. Manga, Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (The mysterious 5th season), controversial subjects in series, the live Action series (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) and the Sera Myu Musicals."
What do you think?
Also we need a name, I came up with "Everything Sailor Moon" but I think we need something more interesting

See my first post for things we can talk about- going off of that I think it'd be an hour and a half if we just touched on something- then we can let the audience participation decide which topics we go into depth about.

We need a room with a AV hookup and screen so we can project images as well as videos. It would be cool if there was some type of powerpoint presentation set up with all our topics then pictures, subtopics discussions for each topic and video links we can click on- like you do in school presentations that use powerpoint.

You put day one already? Because I think it would be cool to have it on day three since most people's schedules would allow it and there would be something entertaining to look forward to that day. I know day one and two I am usually swamped with other things like the cosplay contest, meeting people, photo shoots, registration, AMV onctest, epic panels, dances, etc.

As for a name I don't know.

I think it should be about a hour long, just because looking at the schedule last year most panels were about an hour long.

You know it would be really nice if we could all meet up at a coffee shop and talk about this, I know some people probably couldn't make it but I have a better time talkinga bout this stuff face to face

I kinda like the "Moon Prism Power, Make-Up!" name, but that might just be because I'm a tasteless dork. I dunno, it's classic, and I feel like the others assume that most people at the con dislike Sailor Moon, which I don't think is true.

Power Point sounds cool.

It's not a big deal for me, but I can guarantee that if its on day 3, I will not be going. The most important thing to me is the Charity Auction, and that's an all-day thing for me.

Well, since there's probably a lot to talk about and there'll most likely be a great deal of fans, I'd recommend 1.5 or 2 hours.

That's possible for me. To be honest, I've made commitments to so many things that I'm not sure about anything else. I've got both of my comedy panels, the Miss Kumoricon Pageant, the Auction, and pssibly the Hetalia panel.
