So, had the meet up. Had alot of fun. Made a bunch of new friends.
Griff's thinking of holding another meet up at a park somewhere. Not sure where. Probably at the end of July/early August.
What I know, you'll know!

I am also new to Kumoricon, first time going to cosplay (I'll be the only maximum ride there.

), and.... I can't sew for my life. Might as well do something easy, right?

Anyway, I cant' sew for my life (as stated.), but still.

What'dya need help with? I can help with little things. Like "How do I make my sewing machine start sewing?"

Well...everything in general. I think I'll wait to even start my cosplay outfits till I can plan things out a little more lol
Good luck with the Maximum Ride Cosplay! I loved that book! Iggy was my fav char. You doing wings and all?
Also, as topic creator, I change this thread from "Need help plz" to "If ya live in Central Oregon, report in!". We should arrange a meet or something. I'll start an "Adventure planning" thread in the future when I have an idea. Thinking we could do a DB Movie premier meet, that'd be cool. Anyone got ideas?

I'll force my friend to cosplay as Iggy... and yeah, I'm dong wings and all that jazz. I'll be Max for a day or two, and probably kick it off with Taiga Aisaka... I don't know.

I'm originally from Central Oregon and there's quiet a handful of cosplayers that still live there. Some of them post in the forums here but I've even had problems getting in touch with them since I've moved hahahaha. I hear that COCC has an Anime Club though that you may want to check out. I know at least 3 cosplayers go to that, and if you are of age and can go visit a high school without problems there is an Anime Club at Redmond High School that I started two years back that probably still has some of younger cosplayers hanging out. (That's if it still is going on, I have no idea if it is/isn't) I also know that Bend High School had a cosplay club for awhile but it might have fallen through over the year since I moved.

Also I myself taught most of the cosplay knowledge that I know. There are a lot of helpful sites like cosplay.com, and if you want to venture through it, 4chan's /cgl/ will have really helpful information from time to time. There are also a lot of helpful people that browse the cosplay sub-forum here on the boards so if you have any questions just shoot them over there and I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

Good luck finding some C.O. cosplayers and getting started on your cosplays!

I'll have to check those out, IDK about the High School clubs though, to my knowledge, they've all fallen through >_>
But, I do know the COCC anime club is still active. I noticed the "Cassandra" cosplay in your sig boogiepop, and I look forward to seeing that (As I'm a pretty big Soul Cal buff XD)

I was thinking a hike at smith rock state park, after we were done we could have a BBQ at my house (which is like 3 blocks away)
