Title: Possible Day 0 meeting?
Post by: xcthulhux on August 29, 2009, 10:29:06 pm: A couple of the people on the anime hunters forum were discussing a possible day 0 meetup on the friday before the con.
anybody up for this?

Is that including the large food court at Pioneer Place mall? If I were gonna have a dinner/late lunch gathering, it'd probably be headed there due to the food selection, plus it's a mall like 2 blocks from the convention grounds.

There is a Burgerville on the other side of the river. On 10th and Hawthorne IIRC. I bike by it at least 3 times a week. I don't know of anything closer, but that's about 20 minutes walking or 10 minutes driving/biking.

Also, watch the threadjacking. If you want to discuss your Burgerville trip and make it a general meetup, let me know and I'll split this topic. If not, keep it to PMs and end the discussion of it in this thread right here.

Post by: chelseahavoc on October 13, 2009, 09:36:11 pm: right now i cant think much of anything... and im not much of a portlander... hmm.. i have always liked the idea of pjs or what chars would look like in normal life like Garnets/scarlets CID designs... and what other people have done (taking a wig and takeing char colors to make a everyday outfit). that would be a good costume idea for people to do which wouold be simple and shouldnt cost to much to make...

in my con experiance i liked just hanging out and playing drama games like freeze xD

If all goes according to plan tom, you wont be alone in this task. My happy minions should be helping you and
giving you time to play different hats than Cartographer-man. Thats my dream anyway... It will involve me
actually having minions and then them actually knowing everything you know. If those two key facets are
in place then on Day 0 unless they have a big task from me, they will be directing traffic too! Yay!
