I don't know if this site has been brought up in discussions today, but I found a sit that works amazingly for cosplay!
It's called spoonflower.com (http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome) and you can create your own fabric on it, which can be super helpful for when you can't find the right fabric.
It's a little spendy, but I think, depending on how exact you feel the need to make it, it could be amazingly helpful.

This might be where I go For Sora or Nuala. They're spendy cosplays anyways, so why not order perfect fabric when I have too.
