Title: Weaponry, props and such..
Post by: Ron Has Crazy Pants on August 27, 2005, 05:42:35 pm
i can't seem to find a thread dedicated to any rules and regulations as far as these things go, but if there is indeed one, may i pointed to it?

i just wanted to inquire about the policy for imitation weapons and oversized props. will they be allowed? do they need to be peace-bonded to carry them around? yadda yadda yadda, all that good stuff. thank you!

Some questions about props were asked in a sticky thread in the General Discussion section.  Here's the link:

I think the thread is "Questions for KumoriCon" or something.

:x I was annoyed with the policy they had. I understand the reasons, ofcourse. I just felt dumb walking around with my walking stick having this plastic thing on it and not to mention when I removed it, it scraped the paint....fortunately I redetailed the whole thing after the convention and it looks even better. :P They should use a sticker or something else to mark our props next year.

metal is important to have >.< my katana may have been real, but it was peace bound to the point where it couldnt be opened unless you took a small saw to it -_- that was quite rediculous
