As you can see, that's a pretty big gash. How can I fix it? I've been told paint, marker, sewing it up, sealing it with nail polish...what should I do?
Alternately, if someone lives in Beaverton and is able to fix this and can come out to my place, I'll pay or make you dinner or something.

Gosh I wish I could help you. *use to live around there* Too bad my uncle down there doesn't know anything about costumes and stuff x_x' But I think he would just make it worse
I would probably sew it up by hand then use nailpolish to make sure it doesn't rip apart...
