Title: What can I make?
Post by: Gryffinclaw Princess on June 25, 2011, 02:04:30 pm: I know all of us have random piles of fabric laying round with no current purpose.
I am trying to save money and use up these piles and I figured other people would enjoy this as well.

So! Post what fabric you have here and we can help each other figure out what to make with it! ^^

For me, I have about 3 yards (maybe more...?) of green fabric.
I don't remember the name but it's normal, no-stretch, and a very nice green. Think Sailor Jupiter's skirt. (which I might be making...but I want other ideas)

3 yards? You could probably make all the green accents on the Sailor outfit as well as the skirt!

Sad since my machine is still out of order.

But yeah I worked at a joannes for over a year, and a chunk of that was at a closing store, sooooo cheap.

as for me i have 15 yards of a creamish white that has little polkadot imprints all over it, its kind of heavy (then again 15 yards is very heavy all the time unless its tulle) polka dots are about the size of a "." in size 72 font but only about half a shade lighter then the fabric if at all

I've never done lolita before but I do have a long blonde wig.

Really would need to look at a loli bible and seeing what would look good in green

Unless his hair is going to magically turn red, black, pink, or orange.

Gryff, why not try making yourself some clothes that you'd wear? That green color would probably be very flattering on you. It'd make a nice top to go with blue jeans or black jeans :)
