Title: Voicebox Japanese-style Karaoke!

We are looking for some over-21 otaku who would like to have some inhibition-banishing libations and karaoke the way it was originally intended - you and some friends in a private room!  Happy hour is 4-7pm daily, $4 per person per hour, with snacks and sake readily available.  Voicebox is located at 21st and Hoyt downtown: voiceboxpdx.com

I would looove to do this.  Been looking for things to do around downtown since I turned 21.  When would we do this exactly?

Not really sure...  Was starting with drumming up some interest :)  If we're able to gather a little group of 5 or so, we can nail down a date!  I know my husband would be interested, so that would potentially make 3.  Have friends who would be game?  :D

I think I can convince a few friends who are over 21.  My boyfriend who doesn't sing might tag along to make sure I'm alright if it's a late night gig.  I'll start asking some of my buddies if they'd be interested in this.

I'd be willing to come, but ONLY if Chan could come, too.  If we're willing to meet some time that's on a Tuesday-Thursday, and most likely not while school is in session, then we'd probably be able to come.

Well, I work full-time, so it would likely be in the evening sometime.  Happy hour is cheaper, and that's 4-7pm daily.  I'd probably prefer a Friday or Saturday evening, but we could possibly do something in the middle of the week if that worked better for people.

I'm currently unemployed and anticipating a move.  So until the move my whole week is free.  Whatever is best for other people is good for me.  :D

So with the holidays here, the rest of my month is pretty much spoken for.  Would anyone be up for something early January?  I know Washougal says he'd prefer a Tuesday or Thursday...  Thursday, 1/5/12??  Happy hour starts at 4pm.  I work until 4, but I could be there about 5/5:15ish.  Anyone else open for around then?

Ok, so I'll now have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning next week.  Did anyone want to hit up happy hour at Voicebox next Friday the 13th?  ;D
