Does anyone know where I can purchase a pair of (prescription) colored contacts with an 8.4 base curve? I realize that most colored contacts have an 8.6 base curve because that is the average for most people, but my base curve is 8.4, which is slightly steeper. I would like to get red contacts for a cosplay that I am working on, but I haven't been able to find any. Anyone know where I can get them?
Oh! And I wear contacts everyday, so this wouldn't be my first pair, however I have never owned any colored contacts before.
Thanks! ;D
(PLease tell me if this isn't the right place to ask. )

Just a heads up, they will be expensive. Probably around $100 for a pair but I can look at a few sites. I can't find any with an 8.4 base curve. But with an 8.6 you are looking around 60 for a pair.

It depends on the lens you get. I did find this which has the 8.4 option:
http://www.visiondirect.com/la/product/default.asp?pid=172748&atrx=dps-16&atrxp1=179167&atrxp2=15&atrxp3=%2Fla%2Fproduct%2Fdefault.asp%3Fpid%3D172748&atrxp4=179143
That site has a selection of theatrical lenses, and other red ones as well, but not all of them have the base curve option. I've never ordered from them before, so one should always check reviews and whatnot before buying. Or maybe even check with your doctor.

I would start with your optometrist, this time of year with Halloween coming up, I know my optometrist told me they get asked a lot about getting special effects contacts and should have a good idea of where to get contacts from a reputable dealer.
