yeah Harry Potter release means every tv station will send there news girl down on release night and she will do her report from the book store in Harry Potter glasses and a cape

The rumored date is July 7th, 2007. It's only a rumor because of the timing of it. (Book 7 on 7/7/07)
But there is no official release date for it yet.

I heard that JK isnt' finished writing yet. And then have to wait for publicity machine to crank it up to a fevered pitch, then the book will come out. That or just before the movie comes out.

Here's what I've heard...
The movie for book 5 is supposed to come out around early July or late June. Some people think that, from a marketing standpoint or something like that, it would be a bad idea for the book to come out so close to the movie.
I'm pretty sure the next movie has a release date but so far the book has no release date.
I did read something that said Rowling has been so busy with the book she recently had a dream where she was Harry but also the narrator.
Anyway what I gathered from that is it sounds like she's still working on it.

Lol, I know. I already reserved 2 copies for me and my sister, and because they dont have an offical price yet but need one so it can be saved in their system, it printed out for $1000. But the lady told me before me left thats not how much it would be, lol.

I dont think it would come out on 7/7/07, just because its really BAD timing... Then JK will have to deal with all the hassle of movie premeries and book release and publisity and everything would just be chaos. Plus, 7/7/07 is the date when the London bombing happend a year ago so that would be bad. Another rumor has been October 31st 2007, but that would also be bad considering its still a school night. I would not go to school the next day, it would be like a ginat spolier waiting to happen. Personally I dont mind waiting tell summer 2008, that way its still in summer with nothing to conflict with and this gives her more time to make the book bigger.

Some theories we have is that it's going to be in the late Fall of 2007. *shrugs* That's just what my friends and I have sat down and hashed out. The book will be coming out in most defiantly after the movie, which comes out on July 13th. So either late Fall or might be close to Christmas next year. *shrug*
