Title: Room Banners?

This was something over at KawaiiKon that I thought was a good idea.  Outside of all the rooms were these long vertical banners (about the size of a long towel) that had artwork on it and listed what the room was.  For example, the Main Event room, the game room, the dealer's room, etc.  I thought this was a really good idea and it was easy to find all of the rooms.
Also all the banners, along with the different room names, included different artwork so you could also recognize the artwork with the room from a distance.  Or if you want to keep the same artwork, have the coloring for the room titles be different. (I.e. Main event room, the game room, the dealer's room)

To be honest I don't know if you guys did this for 2007 or are already planning to do this but I thought I should throw it out there at least.

Actually, Mike announced that work on banners with "non-year specific art" on them were in the works for Kumoricon. I'm sure if they're a success then we can expect more of the same in the future.

I approve of this idea. I've seen pictures of cons that had these, seems like it'd work well for hotel usage.

If I didn't go on the pre-con tour at the August general meeting I would've been one confused little girl XD So I definitely approve of those banners! It takes out a lot of guesswork (especially if the map might be hard to read)

Well I'm just saying...it's a possibility, you know? I don't remember what last year's map looked like...so I'm kinda bs-ing this...haha

I agree. Not only would they look cool but it would helpful for people who decide to wander around instead of bothering with the map. XD
