-
Trying not to lose my mind with boredom.
Both my roomies, and my friend are leaving for the summer. Leaving me here...alone.
I'll probably end up like Gollum unless I find some new friends...though that would make for good cosplay huh?
-
>>
Summer started like yesterday?
It only the day after school gets out and my brain is like mush...
I've lost track of the days already....
It doesn't even feel like summer....It feels like just a week breat or something....
Makes me sad...I'm working on some costumes and cosplay commission I guess...
I'm taking Piano lessons and I think I wanna learn the guitar...
Possibly going to Thailand or something...I donno... V-V
-
Makin' DDR pads
That's pretty much all I'm doing this summer lol.
-
Working on cosplay.
Working on band stuff.
I don't think I'll be going anywhere.
Just plain working.
-
My girlfriend will be here at the end of the month, PDXLAN next month with the goggle squad fellows, finding a different apartment or house in August.
Other than those things..not a whole lot is happening this summer for me. Lots of working, but that's pretty much year round.
-
find a job that uses my degree (oh please !) and makin da $$
and working on cosplays i have 2 main cosplay projects, vampire hunter D and father cat
-

Oh don't get me started on burns. I got burnt on an overcast day. No joke.
Problem is, I need to be considerably more tan than I am to properly pull off my cosplay.
-
I was originally planning to go to Hawaii after Japan, but we might go to Florida instead...
-
June 18th - School ends
June 19th - 28th: I'll be going to Kentucky
June 30th - July 3rd: I'll be going to Thunderbird Dance Camp in Portland
July 21st - August 14th: Camp Tel Yehuda in New York
Around August 20th-ish: California, for about a week
August 30th - September 1st: Kumoricon
Sometime in between those I'll be taking driver's ed, going to that one Red Cross babysitting thing, making costumes, cleaning my room, and I'll probably go camping once with friends as well.
I have a busy summer.
-
I am doing the usual thing, working.
I will also be coordinating Pocky Club activities since we're getting busier. And we will have people on THREE continents (we have a member in the UK now). Anybody going to South America?
-
South America....? Uh, no. Oh, but if you want, I can try to spread the word when I go to Lake Michigan next week.
-
Yay! I got a job! Kinda.
SO, for those who don't know, the Olympic Trials are in Eugene this year, and they need people to guard the 2 Museums (to keep people from breakin' in and messin' with stuff) and the daycare center (Save the wee chillin's!). It's a do-nothing job. So far it just sounds like I stand around and visually discourage people from doin' bad stuff... "Yeah man, let's go draw mustaches on all the art while everyone's watching the trials...oh no, there's a guy standing around in a dorky polo! Our magnificent plans are ruined!"
That sorta thing.
But it pays 10 bucks an hour, so I can't complain.
But I probably will anyway. ;D
-
Summer is being cool, but I'm wasting it doing nothing. D: I need someone to hang out with.
ARGH SYD-CHAN COME DOWN HERE! I'M LONELY! Dx
-
You come up here!
-
My summer is full of working goodness. If I had enough munnies I totally would be traveling...visiting friends in the UK or Japan. I'm moving soon, which will be awesome. Plus the random getting ready for kumoricon stuff...like making a gazillion costumes :)
-
Well, I'm in the process of finalizing my job. Sounds like I actually get to walk around and impose my will on the populous. AND GET PAID FOR IT! *maniacal laughter*
So, anyone planning on going to any of the Eugene 08' craziness, cos if you do, we might see each other for a little bit. (I don't know my schedule yet, but soon).
-
I need to get back to work on my DDR pads :P I think my budget's running low again though, meaning I need to go acquire money too.
-
Summer homework lolol. *dies*
And going to China/Vietnam. Yaay for Vietnamese food!!
-
For me, no school means more time for work, more time for aiming for a promotion, more time for bettering Kumoricon, (which, by the way, I hope someone will help me out with stuff at the meeting tomorrow), and sleep.
-
Well, I shall be watching more movies- and maybe a trip to Vancouver, BC is in the offing!
-
Here comes summer, here comes summer
Chirping Robin, budding rose.
Here comes summer, here comes summer
Woosh, shiver
There it goes!
-Shel Silverstein, A Light in the Attic.
Prop work, costume work... Prop work... I need to order my wigs and my RATBN shoes soon so I can make the armor for the shoes and style the wigs!
-

We would like to go to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I personally would like to go to Okinawa because my father taught me and my siblings Shorin-ryu karate since we were kids, which is from Okinawa.

TAN!!!
-
I'm going to Eugene tomorrow, then Washington on then 26. Exciting! =D
-
Cool. What're you going to E-town for?
-
My mom wants to check out the college. Ech. I just want to see the historical stuff, if there is any. Yay~~~!
-
The college eh? Bad time to be doing that (the Eugene 08 thing is going on). But y'know, I'm going into my Senior year there, I'd be happy to show you guys around if you'd like.
I don't wanna be home when my room mate's moving out anyway.
He's taking the internet with him too! :'(
But yeah, I'd be happy to show you around the campus for a little bit, and the most historical stuff in Eugene is on campus, so I'm afraid that's the place to be. I can't promise I know a whole lot about the place though. Don't expect any, "This building was named after David McAlister, the University President from 1908-1920. During his tenure here, he implimented the first blah blah blah." But if she's looking so that you can eventually go here, I'm the guy to see.
They also have a really good art museum (I should know, I'll be guarding it for 10 days, starting Friday). It's pretty cheap to get in, if that was something you were interested in.
If you're not interested, that's fine though too.
-
Museum? I'm WAY interested! And thanks for the run-down, I don't know much about Eugene at all. XD I may take you up on your offer! My mom would love someone to point things out to her.
I don't know if we're checking out the campus today or tomorrow, though. :-\

5 more days until Japan. :)

A man was having trouble with his computer, so he called over his 11-year-old neighbor. This kid’s bedroom looked like Mission Control, so he figured he’d be able to help out.
The kid came over and ten minutes later he was done. As he was heading out the door, the man called out to him, “Hey, son, just what was the problem?”
With a smirk, the boy replied, “It was an ID ten T error.”
The man didn’t want to seem computer illiterate, but he’d never heard of this before. So he asked just what an ID ten T error was.
The boy came back inside and wrote it down, then left. Looking down at the paper, the man made a note to head to the library to get some books on computers.
The paper read “I D 1 0 T error.”
WHO GETS THIS?
-
HAHAHA
Idiot error!
-
I'm so lonely~
Everyone who talked to me went to bed. Crap. XD
-
Summer and its laid-back atmosphere has influenced my now messed up sleep schedule =_=;
