Since I found out I now have diabetes, I do try to do something physically active every day. It being Spring, it is much easier to find things to do that elevate my heart rate, or use my muscles.
I tell ya', washing the car is good aerobics! If you really want a power work out, trying digging in the garden. I made a raised bed garden, and had to shovel the dirt into the boxes. Uff da! It took me days, as the diabetes had gotten so bad, I just had no strength or endurance. I have much more now!
Maybe by Winter, I'll join a gym again.
