This should be amazing. If it's not sold out I'm totally there. And you know I'm going to the later MST3K/RHPS-style version.....yah.
Costume contest, trivia game, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Karaoke contest at Gypsy across the street. Woah! Did'ja know, Portland started this whole movie-screening-benefit craze? And raised over $28,000 here in Oregon for Equality Now?

Well if you can't make the 10:30 pm one, there's one in the afternoon, as well :) But that one is all ages, no heckling :)

Heh, well I work 2:30pm-10:30pm so both are out for me. But I see the Browncoat Ball is going to be here this year..might be time I do Shindig Mal :P

Wow. Looks awesome. I would be all for the first option, to meet the folks at Dark Horse that make the Whedonverse comics!
The prices are high, but really it's the hotel that costs the most.
If I can't afford it (or if it's sold out by the time I could afford it), I might lurk some of the public places Browncoats will visit (e.g., Powells, the Grosvenor's Hotel's Starbucks), to hobknob :)

We didn't go to the bat mizvah; I got to go to the CSTS event in my River get-up; and my mom ended up not going. Total switcheroo. @_@ I didn't get to stay at the Gypsy for the stuff I really wanted, though! We were there for the first round of trivia, but I wanted to sing... :<

I ended up unable to go, myself, because I'm having to take everything in a room and move it to a storage facility, by the end of the month, and work during the week. Would really have loved to have been there. Glad you made it. Any pix of your cosplay or others'?
