I NEED A MODS PERMISSION TO CARRY AROUND A KNIFE XD;;

Hello Mr and Ms Mods! I'm planning on going as a killer, psycho Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) and I'd like to cary around a knife. Now, I don't know if I can find a fake costume knife in time..if not... err could i carry aorund a real one? My mother will be with me, bless her heart, so she'll be keeping an eye on me...-_-;; trust me.. she'll be keeping an eye on me and every othe person in the con...*cough*shesparanoid&overprotective*cough*. So with your permission, may I?

 It'll be an important prop in my costume, since ill have blood splattered all around me and such...^_^;; Thanx again!

I doubt you're gonna get permission to carry around the kind of knife you want (i assume you want to use a big butcher knife looking thing) - legally, you can carry around a pocket knife/folding knife as long as the blade isn't  (however many) inches long -

You're better off getting a piece of cardboard, cutting out a big oversized American McGee's Alice style butcher knife, painting it silver or grey or whatever..

Our policy specifically states no live steel, and a big kitchen knife falls under that.  My suggestion is to either find a fake one, or make something out of carboard or plastic.  We don't want people to be running through the halls and end up bleeding on the floor, it's a pain to get out of the carpet.

@ Master~ Lol thanx. I'll probably manage it with some aluminum and stuff. Or maybe I can check out Spencers at the Salem Center mall, they may have it.. I dunno. Does anyone know of a costume shop around Salem/Keizer around that area?
