It's all in good fun.  It's not that I think I look incredible; just that I have a distinctive appearance.  The idea stemmed from:

1. I'm constantly being asked at cons who I'm cosplaying, because between my hair and my eccentric fashion sense, I look like someone out of a show.  People have even told me I look exactly like various characters when I've been wearing my normal clothes.

2. A friend of mine dressed up as me for halloween a few years ago, and it was quite hilarious.


What makes it amusing is that it would be a bunch of people dressing up as a real-world non-celebrity.  I pick myself because a wig with long black hair is easy to get, and since I buy most of my clothes from thrift stores, others can too.  Thus, it's just an easy-to-do, funny cosplay.
