tales of graces doesn't have a release date in NA yet does it? I know it's out in japan already...or were you going to buy japanese version o.o? When or if it comes out here I think there was 1 character's design I was interested in cosplaying, but it's been so long since I seen those trailers, I'd have to go back and look.

Graces hasn't been announced for a NA release yet. Namco-Bandai usually announces localizations in March-April, and in America WE LOVE THE WII so I'd be more surprised than not if this doesn't get released here...

Although, my hopes for PS3 Vesperia are dropping... D8;;; MAYBE IT'LL COME. SOMEDAY....

I know! D: comon you jerkbags!!! VESPERIA FOR PS3 NOW! I'm to lazy to go to my roommate's room to play on his xbox and there's extra content on ps3 version, just like star ocean on PS3 gets more content too. Apparently FF13 is getting more content on PS3 as well, but I haven't had that confirmed yet. It makes sense since ps3 has bluray and can store I think it was 100gb of data. Anywho I'll hope to hear about a NA release soon then, and keep your chin up! If they were going to release vesperia here once, it'd be stupid for them not to do it on a different system. After all, it's going to take us 1 year and 2 months to get white knight chronicles after japan :3.

But I've been testing out different things for Sync's mask. So far it hasn't been too good. I keep running out of paint! D:

Next weekend I'll probably work on Colette's wings; I'll get heftier wire since the wire I got last year didnt work too good. D:

As an update Emil is set for Kcon '10 and I got my roommate committed to do his first cosplay this year! He's punked out of every cosplay thus far but he's going to do Richter from ToS 2. So we can fight all through the con ^^. Now I just need a marta to protect :3.

If I can get it done by then, I will be going as Asch, and my friend is going to go as Luke. (I want the short-haired one, she wants the long-haired one. We might comprimise and get both wigs... that way she can be both.)

So no longer sure if me and my friend are doing ToS2 cosplay this year. After an unsatisfactory Kcon last year and friends constantly recommending PAX over it, we might be going to PAX. Not sure if we want to do 2 days of PAX and come back for 2 days of Kcon or not though...we'll see what happens.

I also have a friend who is going to do Kratos (Tales of Symphonia) this year and Guy (Tales of the Abyss)

A friend and I are doing Annie Barrs and Tytree Crowe from Tales of Rebirth for AX. Also a Sven(Legendia) is planned for Kcon, we'll see how that goes.

I'm really regretting how things are going this summer in terms of getting Zelos done ><; I'm still playing around the idea of doing a casual version of him though, it's just kind of the thing of no one'd know who I am and I'd rather do him when I'm trying harder for him, you know?

Oooooh I can't wait to see the costumes of Tales! I'm equally looking forward to Sakuracon. Tales have to be the most costumes I look forward to~ ^^

Hey, so figured since I've coslpayed Jade in the past and have a wig, that I could cosplay one of his alternative outfits. Between Doctor Mambo and Resort King, I chose the latter. So I'll be in a robe and slippers with Jade's wig and a spear-like prop. XD

Juuust to let you know. I just decided this now since I went back to playing Abyss, trying to get about three more side-quests before I beat the final boss.

I'll be happy to see any Tales cosplayers but that's cause I'm easily satisfied.... I'm actually already planning for kumori and sakura in the future to do some Eternia characters- since they're my original favorites.

...Hm I wonder if I should just put up a time for a Tales shoot and see what happens...?

I'm a little confused. Are you trying to plan a general Tales gathering?

'Cause in the end, those ALWAYS just become about one series. Tons of pictures will be taken of, say, Symphonia while anyone from another game tends to be ignored after so long. They might join up for one or two pictures at the end, but it's really just a better deal to plan a specific Symphonia or Abyss or whatever (figure no one else is cosplaying Rebirth, so....) photoshoot. I'm not saying you can't intend for a giant Tales shoot, but chances are it'll just become a photoshoot for whatever the most popular series is. (If I showed up in either Rebirth, or even LEGENDIA, I'm sure no one would recognize me even if we did have a giant Tales photoshoot. It's happened before, it'll happen again. And again. I'm not saying this to be bitter, but don't get your hopes up about a general Tales shoot being extremely successful for everyone.)

I've seen that happen with FF and KH shoots, which is why I don't go to them. It becomes an odd mash...

The Square's big enough that the giant shoot could split in two actually, or three, so people from different games can gather or get pics... I'm not sure on who everyone's all cosplaying so I almost think a general shoot would be simpler then having say, 3 or so for Abyss, Symphonia and then a third for all else.

I think it kind of depends too on how the attendees of the shoots work together vocally organizing going say Phantasia first, Symphonia second, and devote say 10 min to each? That said, we could work out a time of say an hour or so for the whole Tales Of crew but have it inside of itself as a list of who goes first for 10-15 or 20 minutes, depending on the size of the group.

Example:
Tales Of Shoot @ Pioneer Square 5pm
Phantasia 5, Abyss 5:20, Symphonia 5:40, Other 6.

Then have it last until say 6:20 and have maybe anyone who arrives late to get pictures during the other and after time...?
