Author Topic: Any idea when badges will be mailed out? (Read 5720 times)

I know it is nothing I should worry about just yet but I am a very curious person. On the website it says pre-reg badges will be mailed out at the end of ever tier. I'm just trying to get an idea of when to expect it. I don't think I got mine till about June last year and I registered in September of 08 >_>

Actually, we have a really good number of people helping out. Designs have been finalized and the database is being kept up to date. I think the first print run was last weekend? I will have to check to see if they got as far as mailing, though. If it didn't happen, it will soon.

They made an announcement about this at the meeting and I would usually have a youtube link for you here buuuuuut..... I've been having trouble getting that done. sorry.

Yep, like Dawn and Tom said, we are going to try and be super on top of this this year!
Brandon has got some AWESOME reg people working really hard to make the badges and
print'em and get'em out! Of course, anyone interested in being staff and helping with that,
we'd always love more help (As I say this, I know I should be joining the reg parties but I
can't ever seem to be off of work on the rate weekends!)

Oh!

No one from ops saw this...

On Saturday the reg team got together and printed all the current badges.

This means that if you registered before 2-21-10 your badge should be currently en route.

If you don't have your badge by... let's say the beginning of March, send an email to registration@kumoricon.org and they'll letcha know what's going on with it.

Sweet sweet. I saw someone on facebook posted a picture of theirs so I figured some were mailed out. I will keep an eye out for it.

My cousin and I just got our badges in the mail today. The only issue is that ours ended up having our names printed (slightly) incorrectly. The last two years, we haven't had any issue with someone changing the way our last name is written, so we don't understand why they decided to try and "fix" our name this year...

Oh well, the badges themselves look great... Now I'm even more psyched for con... I can't wait.

I'll send an e-mail, but I'm not even sure that it's a big enough deal to even really matter, other than the fact that "it's our name."

Dangit! Brandon, looks like the batch of prototype evil voodoo badges didn't work! I
knew we should have gone with a more reputable evil wizard! His credentials looked so
fake!

Hehe I got my badge a few days ago and there's nothing wrong with it

Though the other badge I got (as a surprised gift for a friend of mine hehe), but it has my info on it instead. o.o I'm not sure if that has ever happened before, but is it alright if they can send in a new one?

i'm not trying to be impatient just curious if you knew, but I ordered my badge on the 23rd of Feb. do ui have any idea when badges during that time span will be mailed out??

Should be printed this Sunday (3/7) actually. From here on out there *should* be a 2 week or less turn around time on badges ordered online. For mail in registration, expect there to be about a 1-3 week turn around time.

It should have been sent out with the last batch. If you don't have it by Friday, send an email to registration@kumoricon.org with your full name, when you registered, and your badge name, and I'll look into it.
