I Mean really its like I have a ton of projects I need to do but I can't start them till I finish this quilt and I Need a seam ripper and I must have 50 of them and they disappear! any sewing necities that always can't find?

Losing sewing needles happens a lot. Like I have a bunch but I can't seem to find them sometimes.

And other times I lose a color I'm using and it really sucks but I can't use any other. But now I have this spiffy sewing box I got for x-mas that keeps me in check. ;3

Just plop it in, write 'Sewing Materials' on the top, snap it on, and slide it under the bed.

I dont have a seam ripper so I use the blades of my scissors... probably not the best answer.

my hubby just got me a new one the biggest one he could find. keeping in same spot wasn't an option as the room with my sewing stuff had been emptied so my mom could crash at my place while gettin her radiation treatment for breast cancer. ment stuff was stashed where it could fit... 6 weeks later... i am hunting it to finish a quilt that i think i finally have what i need...

that happened to me yesterday! I still have no idea where it is. I had to use my scissors and it took twice as long as it would have with a seam ripper.

I hate it when I break my seam ripper...

this is incredibly coincidental since just an hour ago I was searching for my seam ripper so I could remove some trim on a dress, I though it was on my table, but I couldn't find it anywhere D:

I ended up just tearing it off.

I have thousands of seam rippers, and I can always seem to find one :s
If I can't, I get Irene to come over, and she lends me a seam ripper~

I have a set of rotery cutters and they scare the Crap out of my husband , he is like "a razor sharp pizza cutter, that is just what you need" I Think he is waiting for me to loose a finger...

Get a small case for all of it. I use one of the ones made to hold embroidery thread, and it all fits inside and it's no bigger than a netbook, so I can carry it anywhere. And then LEARN to keep it all in there when it's not in use. (And sew in your stocking feet to reinforce the importance of keeping needles where you can see them!)

And I used to use an X-acto for seam ripping; it works pretty well but if it's too sharp it can chew up your fabric too; the ripper's neater.
