•Day 24 — In this past month, what have you learned

I've learned a few things this month... that working at a fast food place for over a year doesn't suck as badly as I expected, once I have money I need to start acupuncture therapy, I really miss playing violin like I used to, I LOVE sweet tea, it's important for me to work harder to balance school and fun, and last but not least that Portland is even cooler than I thought. =]

The least healthiest, yummiest chip n' dip ever.

Clam dip:

two cans of clams, half drained
two things of cream cheese melted
dollop of mayonaise
shake of garlic powder
two shakes of worshishire sauce

mix it all up and stuff your face with potato chips. So bad for you but sooo yummy :9

•Day 25 — Your day, in great detail  

I had work today from 2-10pm, so I'm going to talk about yesterday instead.... because I can.

So yesterday I woke up at 9am and went online to look up what books I needed for next quarter, found out my chemistry book is over $200 and died a bit inside. After that I sat in bed for awhile watching old school X-Men episodes before I drug myself out of bed, got dressed, and ran to a delicious sub shop in town to get lunch for me and my brother. My brother woke up shortly after I got back, so we sat with our sandwiches and watched 'Say Yes to the Dress' and made fun off the hideous dresses this one lady kept trying on. I then spent the next 3-4 hours cleaning my room and looking up 'Big Bang' videos because I found out they had realesed a song during the World Cup that I had never heard.

At 3pm just as I was finishing cleaning my room my friend Xyzleena showed up to hang out, so I turned on Gurren Lagann for her to watch while I started working on my Marie cosplay. I start to get frustrated so we go upstairs to take a break and my brother introduced us to the treat of cheetos with hot sauce and sour cream... apparently his girlfriends family eats it all the time. He also told us about the homemade tortillas in the fridge that she had brought over the night before. I feast on the tasty morsels until my friend Meggan comes over at 5pm. We then go back downstairs and they watch Blood+ while I start working on Marie again. By 9pm I realize I hate the costume, and start to have an epic cosplay freakout. My friends and I then proceed to have an hour long serious discussion on what I should do. I eventually just get so fed up I decide to ditch cosplaying Soul Eater entirely, and instead just bring back White Mage Rikku for day one. After this I feel amazingly happy and we all head upstairs. We then sit with my brother until midnight joking around about how my friend pronounces the word 'peanuts' like a certain word for genitals, reminisce over past cons, and talk about other hilarious things. My friends leave and I head to bed, where I end the night watching more X-Men while surfing the boards and then fall asleep.

Nothing that special happened, but all in all it was a good day. =]

INSTANT CUP OF CAKE!!!

You will need:
4 TB cake flour
4 TB sugar
2 TB cocoa
1 large egg
3 TB milk
3 TB oil
1 mug

1. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa in mug
2. Mix in one egg
3. Mix in milk and oil
4. Microwave for 3 mins on max. power (1000 watt)
5. Wait until it stops rising, and sets in mug
6. Enjoy!

Not being able to drive myself places sucks.
I miss reading books.
I need to get out of the house more.
If I'm not happy with myself, no one will be happy with me.
I appreciate my body how it is but I still want to be more toned.
I am pathetic when it comes to romance things.
I will try my best to please others so I am accepted.
Long, warm showers make everything better.

My college is stupid. (They took me out of a class because I don't have the needed prerequisite. Yet I have a paper right here from them that says my High School AP English scores lets me skip that needed class.)
I have no life.
I need to start sleeping like a normal person.

•Day 26 — Your week, in great detail

So yeah.... that's pretty much been my week. Dominated by thoughts of convention for the most part.
Oh my goodness, I have such a terrible memory so this probably won't be in that great a detail.

Monday- Monday was the official start to my measly Summer break, so of course I slept in. After waking up at 10am I lounged around the house and decided I really felt like hanging out with my friend Jade. So I called up Jade to see what he was doing and agree to meet up with him downtown at 4pm. I get bored so I run errands at the mall and get a haircut, Jade calls me around 4 and asks if we can just chill at his apartment instead. I head over and chill with him, my friends Rob and Dan, and for a bit a few other people come over. I watch them discuss stuff for their comedy troupe and just kind of relax until around midnight. Then I go home and watch Avatar the Last Airbender until I sleep.

Tuesday- Wake up late and start the day of with the best cup of sweet tea and fresh fruit I've ever had. I got my pieces for my Marie cosplay together and head over to my friend Toeri's house for a Samurai 7 marathon since my friends Meggan and Xyzleena have never seen it. Spend the next 8 hours just hanging out, talking about con, cosplay, and some girly chat inbetween. At one point stop to get food at the best Subway ever. I also spent plenty of time raging over my stupid cosplay, but on the upside we finished about 16 episodes of Samurai 7.

Wednesday- I had work on Wednesday, so pretty much I woke up, rested around the house and grabbed a tasty sandwich for lunch. Then when it was 2pm I went to work where I proceeded to run headset until 10pm. Then I came home and wached X-Men stuff until I fell asleep.

Thursday- Was supposed to clean out my closet Thursday with the help of my mom (we share all of our clothes so if I ever want to get rid of any we hae to go through the stuff together) but we both decided to put it off for a very long time.... my mom suggested possibly Christmas time. lol. So with my now free time I called my friend Jade and went over to his place. We ended up downloading the Scott Pilgrim game and playing that for a really long time with my friends Alex and Ben. They both ended up leaving and after Jades roommate Robert got home and our friend Dan came over I watched them have another comedy troupe meeting and they finished their application for sketchfest 2010. Got taco bell for dinner and ran into my friend Lewis which was sweet since he's been deployed to Iraq for WAY too long. Chilled at Jades until around midnight when I decided to go home and sleep.

Saturday- Went to work.... nothing too exciting happened, though I spent a good deal of the morning pulling out my Rikku cosplay to see what I need to get done on Monday and spent a good deal of time taming my Rikku wig.

So yeah.... that's pretty much been my week. Dominated by thoughts of convention for the most part.

So far...?

I woke up at 9:30am today unlike the normal noonish time I have woken up the rest of summer.
I stayed in bed for about half an hour when my step-dad came up and told me breakfast would be ready in 15 minutes.
I continued to lay in bed when he texted me, "Breakfast yum yum"
Put on a shirt and went downstairs to get some eggs cause I didn't want anything else.
Went back upstairs and ate while getting on the forums.
Read through my replies on here.
Went on Facebook to check my notifications.
Updated my Facebook status to wish the Freshman of my high school good luck on their first day.
Then came to here and did this...
I got my Miyazaki films from my brother.
Started to watch Spirited Away.
Sewed three hook n' eyes on my Luka dress and bow to attach the bow to the back.

I guess I can come back and edit what I did at the end of the day. [/shrug]

•Day 27 — This month, in great detail

I can't even remember much from this month, especially in a linear fashion so here's just some random stuff.
 
Had classes at the beginning of the month, worked on a big group project and became friends with this really cool guy from Seoul. Project went amazingly well and got an A in the class, also finished up Biology and got a B on the insane final which made me super happy. I also made it down to Portland for an overnight getaway at the beginning of the month where I hung out with bros all day and played in fountains and wandered downtown all night. It was quiet possibly the chillest day ever. My grandparents came to visit recently for a few days which was awesome, while they were here we went up to Seattle to watch one of my best friends propose to his girlfriend down at Pike Place Market... it was adorable! I worked a lot and spent time working on cosplays this month which is no surprise. I also recently reconciled with a friend who I hadn't had much contact with over the past month, so all in all I have to say that this month has been pretty awesome even though it started pretty stressful.

In the past month, things you have learned:

- Dress forms are just a step down from God
- It's always good to read reviews before buying something you think will work, but doesn't actually, and buying TONS of it. (damn hair dye <.<)
- Finding underwear that look like "Gorn" Underwear from Startrek and having your best friend instantly understand your excitement before you explain, is far more rewarding than explaining the sparkly green snakeskin underwear you just bought to your parents
