Wow, all this con love going on... Kinda ironic, since all of my friends in the Grants Pass area have been breaking up with each other left and right. And all this started right after I broke up with my ex, that guy is bad luck I SWEAR. Which is again, ironic, because his name is Lucky. I KID YOU NOT, THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS ON HIS DRIVER'S LICENSE.

(I swear, the best part about dating him was all the name puns I got to make. )

Well, so far, you seem to have several friends here, so there's a place to start. Come to some of our events, such as our meetings or other events, and start meeting people. It's the best way to find someone.

Also, I recommend working on yourself and your goals and letting love happen naturally. Goals, man. I started seeing someone seriously after I finally gave up on dating. Go figure.

The real trick is not worrying too hard about it because in the long run chances are anything you start now won't last terribly long. ow thats not to say it CAN'T but that it likely won't, and who wants to go into a relationship knowing it wont last anyway...? That at somepoint prolly ranging from a couple months to a couple years it's just gonna not work because at our age people lose interest.

In high school.... the thing was to have a boyfriend/girlfriend... and it felt so damn lonely when you didn't have one
But honestly... being 20 and in college... I really snapped out of that and being single was amazing and free
Instead of dating someone cause you want to date, you are living your life, and if someone happens to come along, it just feels very different dating now compared to then.

And I met Pai three months before con.

It seemed more than just a pair of cosplayers meeting to discuss a skit. Talking with her at Lloyd Center afterward, walking her home and carrying her newly bought piano keyboard for her was what sparked it. I know that a long time ago I was whining about how trying to find a girl was like trying to start a campfire in the snow with rain pouring down on you. This time I found the propane tank and the flamethrower. Regardless of whether or not we won the contest, we pulled the skit off, and concerning our relationship, I think if we lasted as long as we have, this one's meant to be.
