But if you need the help of a filker... let me know... I once wrote an entire musical with my mother based on the music from 7 Brides for 7 Brothers and a few other contemporary (of the movie at least) musicals.

Did you ever perform it? Is there video??

*Balks* Heck no! It was a very weird little thing.. put on for my church function, a bunch of Wards were getting together for a theater night, and each Ward had to create a short little play that had a theme and songs and an uplifting message.

Ours was the story of two missionaries coming to a back hill red-neck/hillbilly family and teachin'em the gospel! It was very silly and weird... but probably only funny to other Mormons...

Ehhhh... maybe, maybe not. Singles Ward, The RM, The Best Two Years, et al are some of the best American movies I've ever seen. (^_^)
