What all did you do at Kumoricon this year and what were your favorite highlights about the trip?

Things I did at the con were:
Chill out with some cool people who were looking for people to chill with them (I was named Brenda by them)
Anime Dating Game (arguably the most brilliantly-created anime con event ever)
The tea party
Anime That Scarred Me (I really liked that event and hope it's done again)
Open Mic (I sang Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle)
Fanfic Bedtime
Anime Jeopardy (even though it was cancelled)
AMV contest
That event where people wore various pins

My favorite moments of the convention were interacting with the people there, the Anime Dating Game, the AMV contest and Fanfic Bedtime.

I LOVED the dance. I didnt like the AMV's or the closing ceremony near as much as compared to last year. The cosplay show was...okay. I mostly just liked hanging out with fellow otaku and taking pics.

Um... Rode the Elevators. xD That was an event in iteslf. HAHA. Like, there'll be room for the normal people but they'll say they'll just take the next one. ;P Not like there'll be any less nerds on that one.

Smash Bros Melee (I got my ass handed to me half a dozen times )
Dubbing Panel (I got to play as InuYasha for ten minutes :lol: )

I only got to see some of the AMV's, but I *loved* the ones I saw. Definitely was worth going in for that.

Joshua Seth's comedy hypnotism thing rocked.

That's about all I did Saturday night.

Sunday: I walked in and met the group I hung out more or less the whole day. <3 Edo, Al, Duo, and Berry!

Standing around with those four, taking pictures, getting random people to take our pictures.

The cosplay contest rocked.
The Bakazoku panel was hilarious.
Watched some of the random animes and live action stuff they had going on.

Favorite Highlights of the Con..

The time I spent working as a volunteer being able to hang out with the other volunteers and with the staff members.  Really, you all made the con for me.  I had a really wonderful time getting to know you, and really enjoyed our conversations.  

Being able to see/hang out with old and dear friends who were coming together again for the convention.  

All the time I got to spend with our Pocky club members!  ^_^

Bakazoku...  everything about them.  I love how much they're overall a part of the con.  Not just in the sense of their skits and panels (which are always priceless), but they're every where all the time hanging out with other con goers and helping out the staff.  I really love having them around and seeing them in the hallways.  And every year that I've come to the con, I've gotten hugs from Chris.  ^_^  It makes my day.  But I love them all.  They're awesome and the con wouldn't be the same without them.

The cosplay...  I laughed...  I cried...  I have been seriously scarred for life.  Tom donned the Fuku again.  His skit won best punchline...  so I spent the evening in a mixture of horror and pride for my boyfriend.

The Dance.  I had a good time, and I danced until my legs felt like jello and had to sleep before I passed out.

Trying to explain to the mundanes around the hotel and in Lloyd Center what the heck was going on.  *L*  I actually had to explain cosplay to someone.

Good times, man.  Good times.

I'm so very much looking forward to next year.

Whee this was one of the most rocking cons to me.

I got there on Friday and met up with some Naruto Cosplayers. The cute Hinata and the most awesome Kiba and Shino boys along with the Sakura. Hanged out with them and a few others down at the 'random gaming in the hallway' till midnight or so. That was fun.

Then on Saturday

-I went to the AMV contest
-Cosplayed Shizune (from Naruto) and Fuu (from Samurai Champloo)
-Went to the Anime Dating Game
-Joined in a 15-minute doujinshi contest at the Fan creation Station
-Karaoked a Cowboy Bebop song (that was kick-ass, now I finally have a good Karoake experience *phew* Just gotta stick to anime songs and stay away from damn American ones)
- Attended Pocky Club
- Pocky Congo!
- Probably did a bunch of other things but forgot.

Sunday

- Cosplay Contest attended.
- Ended up running a discussion on Dating Sims (that was fun )
- Went and danced for a bit (whee!)
- Karoaked S.E. Lain with an awesome friend
- Attended the Digital Art workshop (unfortunatly I had to leave early because I almost fainted from no food or water since... well... saturday morning. But I learned enough to be more confident about getting that job to get that money to get that tablet)
- Went down the hugging line. Gave some hugs and kisses here and there as I saw necassary
- Attended the Bakazoku Panel (I think I was way to close to Stark and his pants for my own good... sometimes being in the front isn't always the best)
- Bakazoku Before Congo! Dun dun dun dun dun HEY!
- Cosplayed a Confused Narutard


Monday

- Played DDR, Para Para, and Naruto 3 (Naruto 3 is like the most awesome game. I'm not a gamer... but god I love the graphics. They are amazing...... *wants to get it* and Orochimaru is a freaking wimp! I was so much better off with Iruka)


Through-out the Sunday and Monday I hunted down the Bakazoku to hug... Unfortunatly I only got to three... I'm so sorry Jeremiah and Brian! *sniffles* I could not find you to hug...

And why I didn't hug them after the panel... erm... well I dunno it's the thrill of the hunt I guess.

Saturday:

Watched a whole helluva lot of anime (I guess to make up for not seeing any last year). And Live Action Sailormoon! It was actually better than I thought it'd be, though I still stand by that the Sailor Senshi really need to shave their armpits...

Played some ParaPara, never got any SSBM in. Angst angst. Did some Karaoke, watched the hybrid contest. Yatta~ Most were pretty good, I had my complaints, but... geh.

Oh! The dubbing demo was really fun. "What's that thing?! Rar." Hahaha.. Congrats to the great dubbing cast, you guys were all awesome.

THE HYPNOSIS SHOW WAS THE BEST THING IN THE WHOLE CON OTHER THAN BAKAZOKU I SWEAR TO _GOD_. IF JOSHUA SETH EVER COMES BACK IT IS MANDATORY HE DO ANOTHER.

Sunday:

I don't remember what I did on Sunday... Um, I watched some of the Naruto 3 tourney, and played Starcract. More ParaPara ensued.

I played Munchkin Fu, which was a kickass game once I learned what the hell was goin' on.. before that, though... eck. Had to leave early to watch the cosplay.

What was in the cosplay was good, but anytime cosplay runs an hour short is a time to be disappointed. Way too many walk-ons, and the fact that they didn't separate the walk-ons from the actual acts kind of confused me. Why not? It just makes more sense to me... LOVED the Crossdressing Mario skit, whoever was Lupin deserves hugs and Pocky.

Wandered around the Dealer's Room. A lot.

Hung out in Fanfic Bedtime Stories because it kicked ass, like last year. Ate far more pure sugar than should be legal. Went to Open Mic with Blackjack and sang Bokura no Bouken, very hesitantly. Must karaoke brains out next year, I remind myself.

Ended up having to leave at quarter-to one. ANGST.

Monday:

Didn't do a lot, actually. Wandered around the dealer's room some more, bought the first two of W Juliet, a Tails, and other misc carp. Hung out in the fanfic room, had no muse, tried to force writing anyway, insert failure here.

Ate at the Multnomah Grille, which has some great fish and chips, lemme tell you. Ohhh, MAN.

Went to closing ceremonies, ended up sitting next to the Sephiroth I'd talked to before opening ceremonies in line. He's the best Seph I've ever seen, I swear.

And I got dragged home so I couldn't rant and/or rave about the con. ANGSTY MCANGSTISON.

It was all explosively fun, all the costumes were GREAT. I was teh chick with teh Lain haircut, and on the last day I was in my Taichi costume. My one regret is that I couldn't nab Josh Seth's autograph...

all i did was watch some anime went to a few panals thingys..but most of all went to the game room. and stayed in the hall with hug me signs and kiss me signs.

My highlights of my journey to my first anime convention were 1) When big inuyasha and I fought over kikyo 2) Girls were cheering cause I sat for them (=P) and 3)  When Kylite as Walter gave me Walter pocky!!  XD  Plus the funny dancing Dante and Cloud at the Cosplay =3  I didn't really go to any panels, my favorite part was walking around and meeting other cosplayers!  ^^

- As I was walking to Lloyd to grab lunch, a lady asked me desprately, "What is going on!?!?".
- Watched some AMVs and parodies. Also a couple of anime. :3
- Joshua Seth panel. It was great ; my favorite part was when we was talking about how people complained about not getting paid enough.
"but, I have 5 kids! ... WEAR A CONDOM!!!" <-- came out of his mouth.
I got his autograph too. >D
- Watched the FMA group in the park while eating lunch.
- The cosplay show. Awesome. I like "story time with Ayame" XD
- Watched The Prince of Tennis musical for 4 hours straight.
- Encountered a huge glomp line - and glomping each and every one.
- Closing ceremony. [sniff]

-I was standing by the lobby elevators and I hear someone yell, "Shadow!" So I turn around and some girl asked for a hug, and I said, "Alright.." So she glomped me...then she asked if I knew where Knuckles was...
