Hello! Your friendly neighborhood Richie here saying Hey! I'm gonna do free photoshoots at Kumoricon in my spare time and pretend to be professional by calling it something neat like Bad Wolf Photography!

So yes. I'm offering 30min private shoots at con for the low low price of absolutely free! All I ask is that I maybe get like a cookie or a PB&J or something in return, actually. Girl's gotta eat. I like cherry and strawberry jam and smooth peanut butter. If you have to pay me in Pocky this will also be acceptable.

I'm not offering a lot of slots because I'm in the cosplay contest this year and there are a few group shoots I'm going to on top of that. So snatch 'em up fast!

Sorry there are so few! I want to also enjoy the con as much as I can. I have a bunch of shoots and I want to go to the Exhibit Hall and AA as well. I'll also probably be grabbing random people whose costumes I like for impromptu shoots. I'll have business cards on me so you'll know where to get your pictures from me after con.

Feel free to reply in the thread and claim a time, maybe suggest a place and tell me what character you'll be so I can get an idea of what kinds of pictures to take.

Cash isn't my problem, hahahaha. I just don't like bringing food to a con or going out to eat in the middle of the day. I feel like I'm missing stuff ALL THE TIME.

Ok, well then I will think of something. Today at the meeting we were told that the resturant at the red lion was offering anime/video game themed food. I'm not sure how much it will be but at least it is still in the con space.

Yes I enjoy BLTs.

Nikki, I've personally heard that the Red Lion's food leaves something to be desired. I will seriously work for a handful of goldfish crackers, you do not have to go out of your way.

Can I get 3:00 Sat, please? Normally I just take photos butttt~ I'm proud of how this cosplay is turning out so good documentation would be cool~

Uhm.. foodwise. I could get you pretty much anything packaged, seeing as I live 5 hours away and our hotel room doesn't have a fridge, so I don't know about sandwiches or anything. Would like.. a care package of granola bars (the good kind like the milk and cereal bars), jerky, dried fruit like apples slices and banana chips, and like.. I dunno, other stuff along those lines be okay? Something around that? n.n

EDIT: Oh, and I'd be attending as King Kazuma. Like.. the park would be alright for photos, but he's a virtual avatar in a cyber networking world, so maybe a bit of a more industrial place? I've never been to the site so I have no idea where to find someplace like that, though.

As for industrial... Gosh. I can't think of a lot, and I was there in '07. Maybe the Hilton lobby? They have a big staircase.

Two at a time would be fine, I think. I can do either day, though I only have one slot left on Monday.

I accept edible offerings of all kinds. I like subway's meatball marinara sandwiches. Onion, american cheese, parmesan on white.

I'll be doing Barret Wallace, and I'll echo Sushisoap in thinking an ideal location for me would be on the industrial side of things. I have another photo shoot that I'm doing and we're aiming to shoot under the overpass that I believe is down by the Red Lion. I'm gonna check the location out Friday when I check in, and if it seems suitable, do you think shooting beneath the overpass would work? Or do you even think it would be a wise decision to get two separate photo shoots in the same location?

@Eve: You've got the slot! Two shoots in the same place could get a little repetitive, I think, but I'm not sure where else to put you for an industrial shoot since there's not much in the way of industrial in Vancouver that I know of.

@Chandra: Would the Hilton or Red Lion lobby work for you? From what I remember of Vampire Knight Kaname is a fancypants vampire dude so a fancypants location would probably be best.

Probably the Hilton, then, since that's where I'm staying. Perhaps we can meet at the front lobby and find a fancy enough location from there?

I was thinking their staircase, really. From what I remember it's white marble with glass and gold rails, very hoighty-toighty. If their restaurant is fancy looking enough we could maybe ask to take a few pictures at one of the tables if we aren't disturbing anyone.

I'll probably be in my Koffing Gijinka cosplay. I'm not sure~ where would be a good idea. Maybe the park near the Hilton? It needs to be kind of nature-ish I think.

Nature-ish could work, I think! There's no tall grass but I bet the fountain would be lovely and I remember there being plenty of flower and tree features.
