Ball Jointed Doll's (Pictures and stories welcome)
« on: November 20, 2011, 07:24:27 pm »
In January I am going to get I Ball jointed doll he's 43.3 centimeters tall I will get pictured of him when I get him!

I would love to hear stories of people who like them and people who don't, pictures are nice as well!

Pros/Cons of having a BJD?
Names and stories of dolls if you wish!
And to others they can learn to know what a BJD is if they don't already know!

Oh geez.... I found this thread..... But I have such info on them... Because I have 4. XD

I can give some tips

Pros: they are really fun to use to make them into your own character or a character from an anime/magna or whatever, because they are made of resin they wount break as easily. (still be carefull with them) there are over 100s of models to choose. Its a fun this to practice with taking photos, of sewing for! People also hold doll meets. They are fun to carry around. They have ball joints so they are easy to pose and play with. (like making stop motion vids)

Cons: They are really pricey! And no matter what your doll will yellow over time. You have to be carefull about what you use when you paint them. (they can stain easily.) If your not carefull when paying for them (second hand buying) you can easily be scamed. Keep them out of the sun and away from smoke! Dont eat the resin! Its pioson! Becarefull with small kids and animals!

RANOM TIP: Most dolls will be anocroncly(sp)
If you are really into these dolls...

You should become a member of DenofAngels.com

Its the largest BJD english forum.
