I didn't think this game was so unknown! I've only actually met a few people that know about it outside the announcement about Kingdom Hearts: 3D.

So, who all is a fan of this really underrated video game?

The World Ends With You is a game made for the DS. The main character, Neku, wakes up with no memory of who he is or what he's doing. Basically, Neku has died and is being forced to play a game for his life. Whoever wins the game gets to live again. The premise is that you fight these monsters called "Noise". Neku and his allies are considered "Players" and their rivals called "Reapers". It's a beautifully drawn, well thought out, well executed game, and well worth the time and money

I work at gamestop and have heard nothing but good about the game. It is a shame though that it has not sold as well as it could, but then again I somewhat think of it as one of those sleeper hits similar to the original Kingdom Hearts before KH became super popular. On the other hand, I still haven't played it yet...

Some day I'll have a DS.

Watch a little bit of gameplay online, like the opening cutscene and a little of the battle system. That will show you how awesome it is

I only got to play it because my sister owns a DS. I own a PSP so we trade sometimes. We already have plans to trade when she gets KH RE:Coded so I can play it and she can play Duodecium

i haven't finished it sadly cuz i can't get past the stupid shark monster >_> but ima try it again tonight lol

but i love love this game. the characters, the way it's drawn, the music <3 and the storyline, come ON! XD

This is true. Only my sister is cosplaying someone that is for sure in 3D (Neku). But how awesome would it be if Sho was in it? MATH JOKES!!! MATH JOKES FOR EVERYONE!!!

Really? I found it easy, believe it or not. There were a couple fights that were hard (The stupid shark and anything that flew), but I found it easy

I absolutely loved TWEWY. One of my friends recommended it to me, and I've recommended it to a few more of my buddies.

It seems like not many people know about it, however. Last year I tried to hold a Tin-Pin tournament, but nobody really signed up and the people who did never showed up anyways. Perhaps it's more popular this year, I don't know?
I hope so. It's a beautiful game and deserves more love than it gets.

I guess I don't stay too updated on games, hence I had no idea it was going to be in a new KH game. (Or maybe I just live under a rock.)

Guessing from the fact that there are a ton of KH fans out there, TWEWY should be getting some more attention pretty soon.

I want to get the new KH game just because it has TWEWY and Tron Legacy in it but alas, I do not own a 3DS. I lost faith in the KH series since all they make is spin off games now but maybe this one will bring me back. I should really break TWEWY out for another play through XD

I don't know why, but I can't find the will to actually buy a 3DS. I've played on one in the videogame store and the only place that got me to was a rather large headache. xD
Sounds like fun! I've been meaning to replay all of the game on Extreme mode sometime in the near future.

What sucks is I can't remember if i actually beat the game on the copy I have. I originally played the whole game on my best friend's copy before I got my own. and MAN was that final boss hard!!

This game is just amazing, but I am a little worried about the spike in fans for it. My cosplay group is doing TWEWY, but I'm going to be the only character that probably isn't going to make an appearence in KH:3D. At least now my sister (Neku) can be an attention whore xD

I never got to finish Another Day... it was so sad Q.Q "I can feel my inner emo stirring..." Argh, this game is so quotable xD "TAKE YOUR PANTS OFF RIGHT NOW!"

After I beat the game, I actually just stood around in the towns just to listen to the music. xD

Eventually I downloaded them because I figured that'd be better than draining the life out of my poor DS for a few songs. Hahaha~!

Aw, come on, you're being unfair. There haven't been any spin-off games so far, as they've all helped contribute to the overall story.
The way I look at it is like this: take FFVII. You've got the main game, then you've got side games like Crisis Core (which technically added onto the overall plot) and spin-off games like Dirge of Cerberus (which goes out of its way to tell a story about a character that no one "needed" to know about).
Compare that to Kingdom Hearts: you've got the main games (KH1 and KH2), then you've got the side games that contribute to the overall story (CoM, 358/2 Days, BbS, Coded, DDD etc.). As far as I can tell, none of the handheld games have been spin-offs so far.

...Sorry, I got off topic. This game is so fun and awesome! I want to get the soundtrack, too... Why is there no one I could see myself cosplaying from this great game?!
Also, for those who have seen the KH: DDD 8-minute trailer, did you see how skinny the TWEWY characters are?! Shiki's waist looks like you could grip it with one hand! O__o

I bought the soundtrack the same day I got the Crisis Core soundtrack. I was in bliss for the whole day.

Yeah, there aren't any masculine blonde men, are there? Just Joshua. Huh.

I KNOW. I understand that it's a different style of animation, but STILL. It's a little ridiculous.
