3DS Meetup

So, will anyone else be bringing their 3DS and games to Kumoricon this year? As many of you likely already know, conventions are a great way to get lots of people with StreetPass, and it'd be fun to play some games with people who share similar interests.

I, for one, will be bringing my Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and, if anyone is interested, my New Super Mario Bros. 2! KH 3D has the Flick Rush minigame that can be played head-to-head, along with the ability to share Link Portals with others (they can be used to have your friends fight your Dream Eaters or allow them to ally with your friends temporarily). Meanwhile, NSMB2 can be played co-op and has a Coin Rush mode with scores that can be sent to your friends so they can be challenged!

So, what about the rest of you 3DS owners? Will you be bringing your 3DS to Kumoricon?

Personally, I am bringing mine and I'm only going to be playing Mario Kart 7 since I don't have alot of multiplayer 3DS games other than Samurai Warriors Chronicles.

Oh, cons are a great pass for street passing, then you can puzzle swap and Find Mii while in lines.

I got like 50 street passes today, and it was the first time I "met" someone from Mexico and Louisiana, haha.

I know right? Anyhow, if we are going to have a meet up. I suggest somewhere in the gaming room. I will be entering the Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 tournament this morning so after I get knocked out of it we can all meet somewhere.

Sorry! I guess "meetup" might have been the wrong term. I just wanted to see who was bringing what to the con, I suppose. Anyway, yes, cons are absolutely fantastic for Street Pass, and I also received Miis from Mexico and Louisiana. Isn't it a little strange that Mexico has no map in the Mii Plaza?

Yeah, I noticed something wonky about the Mexican map too. Oh! I randomly got someone from Nevada, which I randomly didn't have either, how odd, since I have all over the US!

If anyone is interested, mine is named Hawk. However, for most of Day 2, my 3DS was turned off, so I didn't get many Miis that day (it was an accident, and I didn't notice it until the late-night panels...).
