Alas, I won't be reprising Mai this year. I've worn her four or five times over the last four years, and I think it's time to make room for other costumes in my repertoire. I'll definitely hit the Avatar photoshoot to snap pictures, though!

hello again, progress on my northern water tribe warrior costume is steady (and props to my friend, who due to my work schedule offered to sew it for me) anyway a question i have is what shoes would you guys consider to be the most appropriate for the costume?

Is anyone planning on making/bringing or know of anyone who is making/bringing an Amon? The prospect that my Lieutenant will be finished in time is becoming more and more likely, but I'll feel positively ridiculous without an Amon cosplayer to hang around ('cause mine's out of town that weekend). I don't want to bring it if not :<

Avatar Kyoshi is 100% complete and ready to go! Just finished spray painting the fans yesterday and got the grease paint today. The colors are a bit off but still earth toned - I blame my printer for that, since I had a printout while looking for fabric that was miscolored. But Kyoshi lived for over 200 years, so who's to say there might not have been a little variation in her color scheme?

I had fun at the photo shoot. It was cool seeing moat of the cons avatar cosplayers in one spot.
Had a impromptu duel with amon which was fun (i lost), and had a good action shot with the swamp waterbender.

But also on a side note. I want to apologize to anyone who may have gotten annoyed with the me, especially the azula i was talking with ( the whole getting carried away thing saying "you did this in the show and you did that") i dont know why i kept doing that and realized how annoying that was later.

Anyway now that guilty concience rant is done, i look forward to next year.
