Hello fellow Puella Magi's!
I noticed their aren't any recent Madoka Magica forums, so I decided to make one!

I would like it if anyone cosplaying someone from Madoka Magica to please post the following:
Who you are cosplaying
What day/s you are cosplaying that cosplay
and if you want to meet up with any other puellas, have a photoshoot,
or have any questions regarding cosplay, location, ect.
And if you are cosplaying magical version or casual! please and thank you.

Photoshoot times/locations: Currently working on day and time! most likely on sunday.
Will change according to how many people can make it that day and time.
Meet-ups: none (yet!)

Right now I'm hoping to do magical girl Homura and/or casual Kyouko for Kumoricon with a group, but I'm not sure which one yet, or if both.

And haha either way Madoka Magica is super popular, I'm sure you'll find other puella magis. I've been to Anime Los Angeles and Sakuracon so far this year and there were a ton of Madoka Magica cosplayers at both.

I'll be Homura! Not sure what days I'm doing my cosplays on, but if we plan a photoshoot, then I'll try and wear her that day.
I've got the wig and fabric already, just gotta start sewing. Still trying to wrap my brain around how to do her tights.

Awesome! What I did is I got a pair of plain heels and thick spandex/thick tights and put them on over the heels, and then get fabric paint and paint the diamond on! Good luck fellow Homerun-chan~

I'll be Mahou Shoujo Madoka with my rose bow for my Intro to Cosplay panel (was Saturday last year) and probably a while afterwards since changing's a pain. Ah yes, I'll also be whipping out my chain and aviators and doing Gangsta Madoka(Meduka) for a while that day too. XD

I'll be Kyubey with my Big Book of Contracts at night, feel free to sign one or try and harm me for pictures or something.

I've been convinced by Shana to cosplay Sayaka. Any day other than Saturday is okay with me. Since I'll be doing a cosplay that requires a lot of makeup, I don't want to spend forever washing it off just to change for a photoshoot. D:

for Homura I'm 90% sure that I'll be making the bazooka that comes with the figma, but scaled to my size, and I'll be entering the costume in the cosplay contest, so anytime that isn't during the costume contest works for me haha

The costume contest is usually on Day 2

That's totally fine with me as long as it isn't during the actual contest. In fact, it's actually better to be on that day since I'll already be wearing the costume haha.

Day 2 is the best for a photoshoot for me, too. I'll be wearing a different costume day 1, and won't have time for costume changes.

I've almost got Homura done! I'm currently wrestling with her blasted black collar, which took a few tries to draft a pattern for. After that, I just have to sew snaps to the black undershirt to hold it closed, do the purple diamonds on her tights and attach them to the shoes (I'm doing one-piece tights and shoes), and then make her shield. Should be done in time.

Is this only for '12 or are you just gonna update it for other years? If the second one, I'll be cosplaying Kyoko Sakura in her casual outfit if I can't get her Puella Magi outfit. So I can be put down as her for sure. Idk what day yet..
