As many of you know, there is snow in Vancouver, Portland and parts of Oregon today and temperatures are predicted to stay at or below freezing through the weekend. We are keeping a close eye on the weather conditions, but it is unclear what the driving conditions will be like tomorrow (December 7) for the general meeting and staff holiday party.

Our first concern is for the safety of our staffers. If we are forced to cancel the staff meeting and holiday party tomorrow we will announce the decision on the staff email list, the Kumoricon forums, staff Facebook group, our Facebook page and twitter by 10am. Please make sure to check your email, the forums or one of our social media outlets tomorrow morning for the latest info.

Above all else, keep in mind that weather conditions vary by location. Please use your best judgment and stay home if the road conditions are unsafe where you live.

Have fun in the snow and stay safe!

Good morning everyone!

We are still having the general meeting and staff holiday party today at 1pm at the Red Lion!

As many of you in the Portland area already know, the temperatures remain below freezing but there isn't any ice or snow that would make driving hazardous in this area. However, conditions vary greatly by location, so please check your local weather report before departing.
