Hey, everyone! Ayame here. I just watched Big Hero 6 a day ago (11/08/2014), and I loved it! Since I enjoyed the movie so much, I want to cosplay as Hiro Hamada, the main character. ^_^ Is anyone else interested in cosplaying as one of the characters from the movie? If so, that's awesome, and feel free to post here!

Oh my goodness, this movie... it hit me so hard right in the feels and of course, that makes me want to cosplay from it someday, as well.  I love Hiro and would love to cosplay him, but I'm freakishly tall, so that would be weird.  My tallness makes me best suited as Honey Lemon, but I wasn't as crazy about her as I was about GoGo.  I loved her quite a lot, so if I had to choose, I'd probably be her.  ^_^  It would be so epic if there was a Big Hero 6 group!

Would anybody be offended in anyway if I cosplayed as Tadashi but with burn marks, charred clothing and paper fire taped to my back?

Oh! Is this still a thing? I plan on cosplaying Baymax for KCon 2015 (though I'll fall back on Hiro if that ends up not working out), and I'd love to be a part of this

I've been thinking about cosplaying Gogo because I have no set cosplay ideas, really, and hers would be quite easy.

     So I had the idea to make a small plushie to carry around with me as Hiro, and I got it down to two ideas but I can't decide between them. Should I make a baymax plushie or the black robot he originally has at the beginning of the movie?

@otakunobody: I think it's up to you. I will actually be bringing a Baymax plushie with me, just in case you're wondering. However, it'd be cool if you have a black robot that Hiro originally had!


@MarcoPolo: Tadashi? Cool! We could totally use a Tadashi at Kumoricon! I will be cosplaying as Hiro during Saturday and Monday, so I guess we could meet up that day. ^^ I don't know about the others, though... ^^;

Hello Big Hero Six cosplayers!
Not long ago it was revealed at D23 that Big Hero Six will now be a part of Kingdom Hearts 3. So I would like to invite you all to the Kingdom Hearts and Squaresoft/Square-Enix photoshoots. Both are Friday of con and both are at the Clock Tower. Kingdom Hearts is at noon and Squaresoft/Square-Enix is 8pm.


Hope to see some (or all, if that is the case) of you there!

I had originally planned to cosplay as Hiro for Saturday and Monday, but I'll see what I can do! xD

Sadly, my school decided to start before Kcon, so I may or may not be attending before 3pm on Friday, so I probably won't be able to make it to the Kingdom Hearts shoot. :/

@MarcoPolo: I'm sorry that you weren't able to make it to the Kingdom Hearts photoshoot! (And I'm sorry that we couldn't meet up as planned. ) However...


Big Hero 6 cosplayers! I'm planning on holding a photoshoot tomorrow or Monday at 10AM. I know it's early, but I'm mostly available during that time due to being part of staff (I actually have a lot of duties tomorrow, so that's the main reason). But you guys can possibly meet at a later time without my presence.


So, does anyone like the idea or plan on showing up? Or does anyone want to meet up at another time?


EDIT: Whoops! I said Friday! I actually meant Monday. Sorry... ^^;

Edit 2: I also realized that I didn't schedule a meeting place. ^^; I think the Clock Tower is a perfect place, and also any time from 10 am to 1 is when a photo shoot might take place. However if no one shows up, there's always next time!
