I'm now worried.... Let's NOT go back to the early 20th Century.... We've already been there and a repeat is not necessary.

This is why I don’t like to watch the Man on the street interviews ware they ask HS and college kids history questions.  Those young ladies need a visit from Sufrajett.  Dose any one still want to see a jeopardy game at K Con there should be a question about suffrage

It's kind of sad that college students don't know what suffrage means..oi. I like how only two of the people had a clue what was going on.

Yes, jeporady at Kcon would be great. But, considering I am a history buff and still in HS (graduating in June,) I could answer most questions people ask me.

Oh dear. I think a lot of it was pressure that they were being filmed, or they wanted to impress all of their friends or something. Either way, it doesn't say anything good about American teens. Stupidity or insecurity, take your pick.

I am concerned about our future as a country. I think I might just flee to Japan.

The only problem with that is that Japanese young peoples' ignorance about the world and other such issues is comparable to Americans'. Having been an exchange student, I've learned just how sheltered Japanese teens (and people in general, really) are. Ultimate example: my host sister wasn't sure that London was in England. >___<;;;
