I was just wondering of how many people here put their forum name on their name tag, so that other people can find you and know who you are? And how many people put their real name or their charatcers or something else?

GameStorm 2002 - I believe I put my real name.
GameStorm 2003 - I put the first part of my "Pen Name" down, "Samuel."
GameStorm 2004 - I put Eternal Yamcha
K-Con 2k4 - I believe I put Eternal Yamcha
K-Con 2k5 - I believe I put Eternal Yamcha
GameStorm 2006 - If I go, I'm going to put Eternal Yamcha down.
K-Con 2k6 - I'm probably going to put Eternal Yamcha down.

K-Con 2003 I was 'King of Nerds'

K-Con 2004 I was 'Serpentor'

K-Con 2005 I finally put my forum name of 'rarnom'. Assuming I go again this year I'll likely put rarnom again.

I think I just wrote my real name at 04, but at 05 I had my screen name. No idea what I'll have next year though, I might have to put my cosplay characters name so people recognize me >_<

My war gamming name has always been Field Marshall Von Dan so my net handle has been FMVD or Vondan and VonDan is my company name. I made a Sashimono for Vondan Leatherworks. I should just strap it to my back instede of a name tag

I stick my online handle on it, to make it easier for people to recognize me (though if they did I get the feeling they'd try to get away from me

). After the auction last year someone saw my tag and was like "Pie... Row... Maniac...? why does that sound familiar?" I'm trying to remember who that was and can't for the life of me... :|

A couple from Korea came into my shop to pick up her purse, she was happy with it and all he said in a George Takei voice “hmmmm… yes you have a flag with the Chinese character for leather on the wall, very appropriate.” And then walked out.

I thought I did a crap job so that was a compliment. I’ll have to bring that flag to the con or make a bigger better one and write the Kanji on my name tag next to VonDan

If you open up any dictionary, you'll find a picture of me next to the definition for "Pack rat."

I still have all my kumoricon stuff, even some of the ads from the first convention's grab bag.

kcon 05 it was: sydney "faye"- because i'm lame and decided to put my real name and my character's name.
and then sakuracon 06 was my full name because i got there late so the guy decided to write my name on the badge for me... woopdi do.

I'll be surprised if she is not like one of those super hyper happy girls in an anime the one they have to restrain in the 2nd ep. After a few hits of pocky she will be bouncing off the walls yelling "keep your head in the clouds".

They're nice things to have to remember all the good times you had at a convention. I have a pile of badges currently sitting on my floor. I still have the cosplay tickets from the years I didn't participate. I didn't need a ticket for SC '06 because I was staff and got to just walk on in. ^_^

The badge will read as follows: "Xaam-her-majesty-the-queen-of-all-things-cool-and-quite-the-catch-if-I-may-say-so"......but then I'll get lazy and just end up abbreviating the whole things to "Xhmtqoatcaqtciimss". Yeah, that's definantly a winner.

Second Sakuracon I had just my real name (since i prereg'd at the con and didn't write anything on it)
Third Sakuracon I had my real name and another badge that said my forum name
For kumoricon I have no idea... probably put kouta down on it
