The other night, somewhere around Cottage Grove, on my way home from work, the lightning was so big, it was about the size of my thumb at arms length. But what made it so sugoi, was that I could not hear it at all! Last night it was west of my house. I hope it isn't zeroiing in on my house.

Without a turbine running now, if we have troubles because of lightning, we have nothing to help keep us from going in the dark. Oh, well, nothing I can do about it.
Have Fun

Yay! Thunder... Well... I missed all the thunder, I was outside the storm for most of it. I just saw lots of pretty Lightning, but strangely heard no thunder *shrugs*

(Stands out in the rain and watches the pretty)

Reminds me of Indiana. Although I didn't have to unplug my computer.

I hope it wanders north to Seattle and ends the baking heat here.

Well, it just made it, as of the huge strike at 3:50am. :) It's still hot outside, though.

I was out durring the lightening, and it was really excited me because it reminded me of my childhood in Wisconsin, where it's a weekly occurrence durring the summer.  I as I began to make my way home, it started to rain, and since I was on foot, and had over a dozen blocks to cover, there was no doubt about getting soaked.  I thought to myself, "what would Yotsuba do?"  She'd celebrate the experience like it was the coolest thing in the world, so that's what I did.

I didn't know you were a cheesehead Pie! Probably means we're related too, in some obscure x-removed manner.

Didn't see lightning last night. Just a lot of streetlights going bad, and having me twist my head near off looking for it.
Have Fun

That night it was right over my house, this huge bolt of forked lightning touched ground two houses away. I screamed like a girl.... I am a girl... but I mean... it could have been ME.... I was outside watching it -_-
