The meeting will be July 22nd at Chemeketa College, from 12-2pm.

This will be followed by the wonderful event LANime.

If you've never been, I'd highly suggest sticking around for the party. It's like a mini con/ house party.

Sounds like another good meeting for me to attend. I'll be planning on showing up. Hopefully I won't be recovering from a sickness this time.

The building is building 9.

It is a large building by the parking lot and it has a very visible and large number 9 on it. If you walk around the right side, you'll find a pair of doors to go in.

As far as room number, the main floor of the building is reserved for our event. So, just go and walk down the hall and you'll be pointed to the meeting.

I personally won't be on site until around 1 pm. It is my son's 1st birthday and I obviously need to be home for his birthday party. But, there will be staff on site before noon to help you get set up with a meeting room.

unfortunately, my new schedule at my paid job has me working saturdays til 3pm, whereas in the past it was only til noon.

i might make part of LANime, but unless i can make the meeting, it might not be worth the gas money.

the likelihood is that i will NOT be able to get off work for this meeting. the reason is that the colleague most likely to have engaged a trade with me is getting married that day, and all the clients are invited which means that extra staff will be needed on the clock, rather than it being a day i could be allowed off early or have a lot of folks possibly able to trade.

i will, however, try of course, and i can try to have someone else from the fanfic yahoo group there for me

Guys, I don't mean to be a downer, but can we please keep the topic to meeting information? If you would like to see something at the meeting, or have things to add to the agenda, or need to know more about where the meeting will be or what will happen at said meeting, it belongs in this thread. Role call isn't really necessary, though I'm glad if you can come.

If you need a ride to the meeting, I think that would be okay to ask here.

i still dont know if going or not depends on whatwe do for friends birthday and she hasnt told us yet...
thing is if we (kendo boyfriend and self) go we might be able to give tom an vallie a ride cuz we'd be comming from close by (we probable wouldnt be able to stay for lan party tho least not all of it)

D'oh! I forgot that Vallie and I madep lans this weekend. She and I are going to see Clerks 2 on Sunday. I doubt I'll be able to convince her to come to the meeting on a day we planned on having a date. We'll see.

It was good to put faces to avatars. Glad to have met y'all. Hell Kitty is about 3 times the size I somehow was expecting!

Waffles a bit shorter.

I'm going to have the film developed tomorrow, and I will have them on disc, and I'll let you know. Don't expect much, I should have used a flash, but that is too annoying to me.

I just wanted to say thanks to all the K-Con folks for their presence at the event. It is really exciting for me to be able to have the support of a 'big deal' thing like Kumoricon and I look forward to the future joint-events we can put on.

Our next big party in Salem is planned for late October, so I'll keep peeps posted about it as we get more plans finalized.

We will also be showcasing the finished GAME SHOW footage at the October event for those of you who might not be able to see the broadcast of the show (since it is NOT on cable...)

I'll also post airdates and stuff as I get them.

Ok you're probably talking about Brownie (aka lowtech on the forums) she's not scary, you just gotta understand that she's intense. You want to see scary try seeing her up at 4AM looking for some lost kid, dealing with a problem con-goer for the third time, or waking her up. If looks could kill her's would.

Little bit of advice, don't waste her time and be precise when talking to her. Just whatever you do don't abuse the walkie talkies.

...I need to go to more meetings with one hour of sleep... Yay. I never quite got into REM sleep, but I did manage to not fully wake up either and right now, the meeting seems like a vague dream.

It was pretty cool, didn't really meet a ton of new people since well... I'd been to two meetings prior to this one. I AM looking forward to the next one, it's nice to be at the hotel for it... It especially helps Yojimbo out too... Get a better lay out than we did last time and do our best to fine-tune things.
