Where to cosplay....

I dunno why, but I'm planning on getting together with some people and just cosplaying with them in random places :P Like the Naruto cosplayers did at the merry-go-rpound in the mall this year, but without an excuse.

Got any ideas of places to go, and get noticed without getting kicked out?

That sounds cool. And I have no idea, unfortunately. :(

The rose gardens in Washington Park, or some other park like that?

Or there's always the mall.  Random groups of anime characters eating together at the food court is a beautiful image, especially if they do so in character.  Mwahaha.

That's a great idea, anyhow.  Sounds like fun.

since so many of us live in beaverton and hillsboro, we should just meet up at a random place sometime... Like a mini-con, a good way to make new friends too :P

ACK! why am I thinking of doing this so soon? I need to MAKE a cosplay first! >.> gotta go shoppin' again this weekend, mom...

Whenever my friends and I get together at my house, we always get into my costumes and mix them up.

After doing so, we walk around my neighborhood in broad daylight and see how many people stare at us.

It's so much fun.

But I'm thinking of going in my Ouran uniform to the lake next to Salem public Library and Bush Park for a miniphotoshoot.
I still have 12 pictures left, y'know.

that'd be great... If we can plan in advance, I'm sure I can get my entire group from the last con to come. I need another excuse to cosplay... or rather, yet another lol

Some people did a cosplay photoshoot on UW campus last month, it was pretty cool, the scenary was really good too.  ...Um I guess my point is, most school campuses are good places for photoshoots, especially the older school with classical looking buildings.

If you're talking Portland area, my friend and I had a mini shoot along the part blocks that worked out pretty well.  The South Parkblocks, I should add; the ones which run through Portland State University.  She was in an EGL outfit, and I was able to get some wonderful pictures out of the trip.  Actually, the north park blocks would be fine too, they're both pretty.

Ooh, I went there for my Japanese class and it was really pretty.  <3

It would make an awesome backdrop for photoshoots or something.  =o
