okay my boyfriend was dressed as urahara from bleach and he gave he his glasses for safe keeping (bad idea) i put them into my purse and during opeing ceramoies
"Jaz hand me my glasses so i can see"
me looking thru purse and becoming frantic
"jaz knock it off you starting to scare me"
me scared hands him my purse to look for himself
they were gone all i can think of now is they came out when i pulled out my kuro neko plushie, we searched everywhere a staffer sad some one found a pair but we couldnt find them kendo boyfriend made me leave to go to pocky club pannel , i felt terrible
he was like be happy come on happy now!!
on the last day i was like "look what i got" the dark horse table had given me a manga
he was like lookie and he had his glasses , what we think happend is some one found them and meant to take them to opp and forgot till the last day  but i know most lost stuff threads dont have happy endings

My friend lost her camera, but the funny thing is, her family didn't even pay for it. They got it for free, but it's still the whole situation of loosing the camera. It sucks, but stuff like that happens.

If anyone did manage to find a Cannon Powershot that had a whole bunch of pictures of Yami no Matsuei and Sailor Moon characters on it, please contact me ASAP.

I lost Ninety-Nine Nights for the Xbox 360 from Con Storage, it was a rental from Hollywood Video, so it doubly sucks to have to pay for it as it's not even mine. I would really like it back.

At a pervious Kumoricon I lost my Kirara hat, and never found it ;_; This year I almost lost my purse and the bag with the costume I had been slaving over in it, but I remembered where I left them, and found them before anyone else did.  I was scared to death for about 10 minutes though...

A friend of mine didn't loose anything, but her HP tablet PC got damaged. The power switch got disconnected and you can't turn it on. It was also an e-bay find so there was no warranty and even if there was, hp doesn't support this product anyway.

Just goes to show that you shouldn't bring stuff to the con that you really don't want to loose. I can't count the number of times I left my water bottle sitting somewhere random. I'm just glad that I'm already poor so all of my stuff was cheap crap.

The game sucked ass. I should have rented something that didn't suck like Dead Rising (just rented and it's awesome so far) or Dead or Alive that could have been played at the con.

I lost my name tag and went from a staff member, to lost and found, to information, to registration to OPPS back to registration...funny story about that though.. i lost it while taking my shirt off at the AMV contest and when I explained the situation to the guy at OPPS it went something like this:

me: yeah, I lost it when I took my shirt off...
Him: you what? oh nevermind here take this note to registration.
me: oh my gosh thank you so much!  how can I repay you!?!

At one time I did the overflow customer service for Nissen foods, and we were sposed to tell peaple they had a shelf life of one year but I think under the right conditions they can go 5 years

I didnt have money for food. Even if I did, i would have ended up spending it on souvineirs. I can't cook worth crap, so thats why I only brought peanut butter and jelly sandwichs to the con. I guess I coulda made different sandwichs, but I didn't have a lot of time in the mornings anyway...In the end, I was sick after the con because thats all I ate. And because of a horrible lack of sleep. XD;

I myself didn't lose anything at the con. But my friend lost her adorable little yazoo keychain last sakura con. ;_; no one ever turned him in either. It was too bad, he was so cute! She was so upset that she bought a new one, and was happy again. :3

Um, why was that?  I discovered delicious fresh sushi, pannini sandwiches, brie, baguettes, fruit, waldorf salad, and other sundry delectables at the Safeway one block directly south of T-bell.

I did that for nearly three months (thank you camp!  :x I was a counsiler, not a camper >.>), but hey, after a while, food is food.  If you get really good home made jam/jelly, you can live off of pb and j for at least six months before going insane and capturing and eating drunken freshman as they wander out of bars.

Or, at least, so I've been told by some of the local grad students.  :lol:
