Costume Contest at Oaks Park
« on: October 24, 2006, 09:46:01 pm »
(I believe this is the right place to put this.. ^^')

There will be a 'Halloween Spooktacular' event held at the Oaks Park Roller Rink on Saturday, October 28th. It's going on from 1-5pm and again at 7-10:30pm. There will be a costume contest, and a chance to win some prizes.

Cost is $5.00 to get into the rink and $1.00 for roller skate rentals, or $2.00 for blades.

So if any of you enjoy skating, I recommend you drop by in costume! It sounds like it'll be pretty fun. =3 I'll be there 1-5pm in full Shadow cosplay. Hope to see some of you there!

... Literally down the street from my house. My house is the one you can't miss on Tacoma that's all decked out for Halloween. Ijust put Jack Sparrow in the window and a pirate flag. Yarg!

Well, I got back from Oaks Park a little bit ago. I had fun. =3 My friends and I were the oldest people in costume. (The rest were just little kids in generic Halloween costumes.) I ended up winning 'Most Funniest' in the costume contest, tieing with a little Jack Sparrow. I'm not exactly sure how my costume is funny.. But I'm still glad I won. ^^ Got some nice compliments too.
