Question about Youtube

Does anyone know why Youtube has been down for this long? I went there last night a little before 8:00 and they said they were going to be down for maintenance. I know that's something they sometimes do, but I went there a few minutes ago and the site's still down and in the past, the site was never down half as long as they've been this time. Does anyone know why they've been down this long?

It doesn't look down to me. Try clearing your cache and reloading.

I think it was the link I had saved that there was a problem with. I got access to the site again when I clicked on a different link.
