Also? Bandages, bandages, bandages. Getting blood out of fabric is a biznatch.

Don't over-iron the white cotton either. I had fun with THAT one once upon a time.

I have not had to much problem getting blood out.  I have been covered head to toe in a blood a few times.  First you want to get cleaned up in some one elses shower (take care to get all the pieces of brain out of your hair).  Then pack your bloody clothes into a plastic bag no one can see though.   When you get home wash them once on gentle cycle with cold water and no soap.  Then wash them again with warm water and a soap that says it gets out protean stains.  The only things I have not been able to get clean is a white cotton t shirt, white pants and powder blue dress shirt came out fine.
