Akimichi Chouji Wig
« on: April 03, 2007, 09:30:50 pm »
I'm having difficulty finding a site that sells wigs even close to what I need for Chouji. I don't want to cut my hair to make it like his(for a fat female it's not so flattering).

If you do not know, this is what he looks like:
Plans for Kumoricon 2007:
1.Crossplaying as Akimichi Chouji
2.Dancing like an idiot
3.Glomping random people
4.Rinse and repeat

youd have to buy a base wig from amphigory.com and style it, or commission it from someone i would say...someone like me... >_>

cause yeah you probably arent going to find anything like that allready mass produced.
Commissioning again!
Props, wigs and costumes.

well I needed a wig similar, but they all seem to be too long or too short.
wouldn't it be a bit awkward styling a wig that's too long(once you cut it)?

I'm new to this costume stuff, lol.

....no, i mean a wig IS different than hair.  but not so much in the respect that once you cut it you wouldnt be able to style it. not like that anyway, its when you get into up doos (ponytails etc) that you have to do wierd stuff you wouldent have to do to hair on your head.
