I don't like to say I can speak fluently because I have a hard time speaking it but I'm very good at reading and writing.

Could you give us an idea of what area you're in?  It might help us know what schools to suggest for you.  The only community college I can think of that might teach Japanese is LCC (Lane Community College).

Edit: And I just noticed what's written in your sig.

You are correct, LCC does offer a Non-credit Japanese class. I believe it's a five semester class, but I could be wrong, as I havn't even started classes yet (That and I don't plan to start Japanese until possibly winter semester).

I have no idea where in Oregon you live but if you live around the Salem area or can commute there easily enough, I suggest Japanese at Chemeketa Community college, with Yoko O'Brien. Im currently in Japanese 103 with her, and its realy fun and an awesome class. You'll have to wait tell fall term if you wanna sign up for 101 though, right now shes only teaching 203 and 103, but that will start over once summer vacation is over. It would be at West high school ever Monday and Wed, from 6:30-8:30pm. It will set you back around $200 eveyr term, but counting the textbook and workbook, which will carry you through all 101-103 and 201 luckily.
