Ouran is the best I've seen recently, but I just love Excel Saga. I love Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop too but it'll never be my favorite because each of them gets too emo at times.

If I ever see enough classic anime to get all the jokes I think Excel Saga will be the undisputed best.

I enjoy Excel Saga very much, but I have to say that Yu Yu Hakusho and Damekko Doubutsu are my favorites right now. Such opposites they are, too.
