When I was in theater school and work was before the wireless age we used headsets wired into the building at various tech stations.

I'll have available soon a set of 6 to 10 Motorola Walkie talkies and a base unit. They are in a friend’s garage some ware and will be added to the rentals section for film and theater at my shop. The were purchased for the postman in about 1999 and have not been used since America's Most wanted was filming in town about 3 years ago.
